If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, head over to Dummer Down Farm for the Good Festival where you’ll find amazing food and drink, plants, art, music, and me!

I’ll be teaching free family yoga sessions at 10am and midday, suitable for all ages and abilities.

It’s a wonderful festival and I’m delighted to have been invited back to help raise money for the Hampshire Medical Fund.

This is a little affirmation that we say at the beginning of every kids class. I've used it since I started teaching in 2015 and I love it.

It's a reminder that you don't need to have any fancy kit or go to a class to experience yoga; you literally CAN do yoga anytime, anywhere... Stand tall and straight when you're waiting in a queue, take some slow deep breaths if you're angry or frustrated...

And depending on what you do, yoga can energise you if you're feeling flat or ground and soothe you if you're feeling wired.

It's a reminder to love yourself, to be proud of yourself, to respect yourself and those around you.

And it always, ALWAYS makes me feel better.

If you have a child who has been to one of my regular classes, try something out for me. Start saying the first couple of lines and see if they join in (with the actions...)...

**FREE parent and toddler yoga classes starting Friday 30th September in Andover**

I’m delighted to be partnering with Sport in Mind, a wonderful charity that offers sport and activities to people experiencing mental health problems.

Looking after little people can be overwhelming, challenging, exhausting… so if you can I’d love you to join me for one of the sessions, for a bit of structure, escape, movement… relief…?

The sessions will be every Friday during term time, 10-11am at Andover Leisure Centre, starting 30th September.

This morning I taught an early morning class at our local primary school, the first of the new term, and I wasn't sure how to approach it given the news of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

After a flurry of excitement at being back, we settled down and I asked the children how the news had made them feel. Sadness, of course, but they had an awful lot to say about how proud they were and how amazing they thought she was.

This afternoon I delayed the start of my adult class to listen to the bells at the church next to the hall toll 96 times, for 96 years. A poignant reminder of a long life, and the steady, reliable passing of time.

Even after the bells stopped, time continues. The Crown is passed on to the next Monarch, and we carry on.

Whatever your views, whether you believe in a Monarchy or not, the events of the last 24 hrs will stir up emotions in you. Perhaps grief, perhaps sadness, perhaps frustration, perhaps pride.

Without judgement, allow those emotions to be, to grow, to subside, to evolve. And without judgement, allow others to experience their own emotions their own way.

Steadfast, resilient, dignified, and bright. What amazing qualities to have had in such abundance.
