In celebration of the summer selection from the Flexi-carer fund (now it's nearly Christmas ).

Sometimes living with care needs can consume daily living for the whole family. We believe that doing the different and making time for everyone helps for living a fulfilling life, and we aim to support our users to do so. That is why over the summer we have put the Flexi-carer fund to good use by supporting Crossroads families in getting out of the house and enjoying the sunshine.

At the Cotswold Wildlife Park, we created lasting memories for everyone, meeting all those lovely animals and enjoying a trip to the café together for cake. Other youngsters were lucky to enjoy a fun day at Thomley Hall with all its sensory fun.

If you use our services and would like to come on our next group outing please let your care manager or Lizzy know, you can even suggest where it should be. :)

In celebration of the summer selection from the Flexi-carer fund (now it's nearly Christmas!).

For some, living with care needs can consume daily living both for the individual and their unpaid carers. This is why over the summer we put the Flexi-carer fund to good use by supporting older Crossroads users in getting out of the house and mixing with others where possible. Enjoying something other than just the usual is our aim, and to make connections within our community.

A leisurely 2 hour boat trip on a French Brothers boat gave ample time for meeting new friends and catching up with older ones while enjoying a cream tea hamper.

Thank you to Jazz for organising this lovely outing for older carers and people with care needs in the Windsor and Maidenhead area.

If you use our services and would like to come on our next group outing please let your care manager or Lizzy know, you can even suggest where it should be. :)

We are recruiting a Care Manager to work within our adult care management team.

We are looking for an energetic and caring individual who wants to make a difference to people’s lives. If you want to support staff to enjoy their work in order to ensure older people and others with care needs live full and happy lives then this may be the role for you.

Tasks include supporting care staff and co-ordinating care worker schedules, assessing clients’ care needs and making sure needs are met. You will have the support of the care staff training team.

The care we provide can include helping with any specialist medical needs, or providing support and companionship to people with long term conditions.

Our head office is in our Oxford office in Marston, but split working based in Newbury office could be possible.

A full Enhanced DBS check is required. Own transport essential.

Crossroads Care is a registered charity with a long history of providing quality care services for children and adults in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.

We provide fully paid training which will include a Safeguarding Course and any specialist courses to fully equip you with the knowledge and skills to care for our clients.

Today, the 11th November 2025, is Armistice Day, which marks the end of the First World War.

There will be a national two-minute silence at 11am today – the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, in remembrance of all those who have been lost to war.

For those of you who will be working with us this morning, we would like to offer you the opportunity to observe this silence where your duties allow.

Our service users may also wish to observe the silence, and we will respect their wishes wherever possible.
