Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of joining a delegation of leading european healthtech businesses, on a mission to explore key opportunities in South Korea!
By meting with the most innovative players in biotech and healthcare, we were deeply impressed by the dynamism of the Korean market — a world-leading ecosystem supported by strong R&D investment, a forward-looking regulatory environment, and a collaborative spirit.
Through various connections with previous and new ecosystem partners and friends, we also had the opportunity to join the Healthcare & Medical Korea Fair in Seoul, attending 2025 and engaging in expert-led discussions that further broadened our understanding of the region’s unique strengths 🚀

We’re proud to have been featured in a case study by European Investment Fund (EIF), highlighting how we’re helping advance the future of personalised medicine!

In the article, we dive into how we’re using our AI-powered digital platform to reshape clinical trials, including on Alzheimer’s disease—one of the most challenging and costly areas in healthcare. By non-invasive, accurate triage, trials can benefit from reduced patient dropout, improved trial accuracy, making drug discovery faster, cheaper, and more precise.

Last Friday, we had the privilege of taking part in the Innovation in Healthcare: Drug Discovery & Clinical Trials UK 🇬🇧 - Portugal 🇵🇹 panel, organised by the Department of Business and Trade and hosted at the NOVA National School of Public Health. Representing iLoF, Sara Rocha attended the event engaging with brilliant minds passionate about transforming the future of healthcare.

This initiative was also made possible with the support of AICIB - Agência de Investigação Clínica e Inovação Biomédica. We were honored to share the stage with key figures, including the Vice-President of AICIB Paula Macedo and a Board Member of AICIB Anabela Isidro, who brought invaluable insights to the discussion.
