We run our course in two parts, giving you the choice to complete both over a single year or to split out. The first part explores yoga's history, traditions and asanas, before part two where we delve into teaching and work with you to develop your own style.

Our training is spread out over the year. Why? Because life has a lot of commitments to fit in. Also. It gives you space and time to absorb information and get to grips with course content with less pressure.

At the start of each week, we open the doors to the studio to welcome you to explore your own practice. Whatever form of movement or breathwork that might be, you are welcome to use our wonderful home, mats and props to practice.

Hosted by Katie Mc and James (when he's not making tea at Tiny Tea House), the session is not guided โ€“ instead there for you to find stillness, shapes or mindfulness in a way that suits you. Towards the end of practice, the offer of savasana and a short seated meditation is offered.

So if you are an early riser, come along at 7am on a Monday soon.

We're into our second year of offering 200-hour teacher training here at Every Body. We love it so much that in 2025 we're opening a new cohort!

Starting in September, we'll welcome a new group of trainees to our part-time course.

Different to other providers, we are all about flexibility. Split into two parts which you can do in the same year or split out, part-time, and spread out over a year - we might go a little slower, but that. means time and space to explore and absorb more!

You might have noticed that over 2025, we've been building our Pilates offering. Just like yoga, Pilates is an amazing way to connect to the body, work with breath and find new ways to move the body โ€“ all on a rectangle of mat.

We have a range of pretty wonderful teachers, each bringing their own style (and trademark shapes) to their Pilates class. With Pilates available almost every day of the week going, there's no excuse to not give it a go. (And if it's not for you, that's kinda okay too!)

๐—ช๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—ฃ๐—ถ๐—น๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ๐˜€?
Yes, Pilates is really different to yoga โ€“ and vice versa. But there's.a familiar sense of moving on the mat and utilising the breath to explore the body and shapes.

In Pilates, body weight and gravity are used to find resistance โ€“ alongside breath to control movement. Shapes are repeated, giving time to become familiar and to adapt.

Sometimes the mat alone is what you'll use, other times props including balls, blocks and sliders โ€“ always with plenty of options to tailor the practice to you.

We have a range of Pilates. As we've built the offering, we've added Dynamic Pilates to the mix, where you'll have the chance to take additional options to really challenge your technique.
