I’m a Slow Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga Teacher & Reiki Practitioner.
Since the age of 21 when I entered my first yoga class I’ve been on an inner search. An inner quest (or maybe inner desperation) to heal my anxiety, stress, constant need for perfection, work-hard play-hard soul destroying burnout attitude and the need for constant distraction.
And it didn’t matter what I did, or how much I achieved. I never felt I was enough, good enough!
I had everything I ever wished for, my work-hard spirit always got me there. But often at a cost to my health, mentally, physically & emotionally.
Life felt like a yo-yo - one extreme to the next. No balance & rarely calm. I knew I craved balance but didn’t know how to create it.
Now at 40 years old I can say without a doubt I’ve learnt an incredible amount about what triggers my waves of anxiety, what throws me off balance & what tools I can use to re-regulate my nervous system & get myself back on track.
Through developing self-awareness, deep listening skills, and learning to manage my energy levels, I’ve been able to move past my crippling anxieties & create a life that now feels full of purpose.
I can relax - without guilt & give my body what it truly needs.
And all this through yoga, journaling, Reiki, coaching and of course the support of my gorgeous family & friends.

We’ve been programmed to believe that faster is better. Do more, play more, sleep less! - It’s exhausting!

The practices I share are Slow Hatha, subtle, yin like, restorative & inward. Suitable for all abilities with lots of breath awareness and interoceptive pauses.
My additional trainings in ‘Yoga for all’, Restorative & Yin Yoga mean I can adapt to my different students’ needs.
My classes, workshops & retreats create a safe environment to move, breath, explore and relax.
It can be hard to slow down when all you’ve known is busyness. I’m not saying it’s easy, it wasn’t for me!
But, by slowing down and by allowing myself to pause I’ve become way more productive than I’ve ever been.
