Lilys VBT spinal surgery

Sorry for the very late update on lilys progress.
On the 30 April as planned ,Lily was admitted in to the hospital in Philadelphia America to have her double V.B.T operation.The 8 hr operation went ahead smoothly.
She had a rough couple of days which were expected.The Dr did amazinly well with her correction.The rest is up to lily as it hopefully will continue to correct as she grows.
Considering the operation she had she had a fab time in hospital, the Drs, nurses and staff even down to the catering guy Shawn made a lovely effort to get lily what she wanted.Lily had a fab visit from the cute therapy dog.lovely visit from hooper the clown who kept lily entertained ....the ladies with the toys and arts and crafts trolly where lily could choose some presents and the wonderful gift of a pink teddy bear which she could hug after the op..she is now discharged from hospital and is doing well..taking in a few sights and recovering ready for her trip home...Thank you to all the wonderful staff .We will be forever grateful.xx

Lily has at last gone to theartre to have her VBT operation on her back.she was so brave throughout and kept smiling all the tin.it will be a Good few hours untill it's finished but we are praying to God all goes smoothly.###

In preparation for the Nürburgring Track Attack fundraiser for lily , Ashley Carter and friends took to the test track at Bedford Autodrome to familiarise themselves with the cars that will be racing around the best but most dangerous race track in the world ! This event will be happening on 19th 20th and 21st April.

Today lily collected her third brace and she's thrilled with how pretty it looks..may be this will be her last ! Let's hope so x
