Sometimes, the story tells itself:
Hi, my name is Jess, me and my close friends are taking part in a fun run to raise money for the Joey Beauchamp Foundation—a charity very close to my heart.
In 2022, my family lost my dad after he struggled with his mental health. That experience changed everything for us. It showed us just how important it is to talk openly about mental health and make sure people can access the support they need before it’s too late.
Since then, my family and I have been passionate about raising awareness, breaking stigma, and helping others feel less alone. The Joey Beauchamp Foundation works to improve understanding around mental health and provide vital resources for those who are struggling.
By taking part in this run, I hope to contribute to that mission—helping more people reach out, get support, and know that their lives matter.
