Today, Mark's our 10th anniversary since we opened our first funeral home in Kidlington on the 5th of May 2015.

As I sit reflecting over the past 10 years, of how a dream turned into reality, i am truly humble and eternally grateful to all those who have supported us over the past decade.
CS Boswell has rapidly grown in this time, seeing the expansion of our business into Oxford and Bicester.
2025 will also see the opening of our new care facilities and Chapel at 77 Bicester Road and the opening of our new Funeral Home. Just before i celebrate 22 years of being in the funeral profession.

To the many families that have entrusted their loved ones into our care. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, for allowing us to look after you and your loved ones, at one of the saddest and hardest times of your lives. This truly is an honour.

As funeral directors, we are in a privileged position to help and guide you in your time of need. We endeavour to continue to do so for many years to come, serving to the best of our ability.

From being a one man band, who was then joined by my brother Ryan, we grew the business into the enthusiastic team we have today.
I am truly grateful for every single one of you and for your continued support and loyalty.
We work hard together to make CS Boswell what it is today! Albeit some days are challenging, we remain consistent, realistic, and maintain a strong bond that makes a difference to those we serve.

It only seems right that today is a bank holiday and we celebrate our 10th birthday, with a break.

Here's to the next 10 years!

Carl Boswell

Having worked in the funeral profession since 2004.

Carl worked for another funeral company which had funeral homes in Headington, Cowley, Botley and Kidlington.
The company was sold to Dignity Plc in 2012.
Carl then worked across 9 funeral homes, serving most areas of Oxfordshire.

Carl established CS Boswell Independent Funeral Services on 14th February 2014. Our first funeral home in Kidlington opened in May 2015. Working alongside his brother Ryan, they built the business to a reputation that we believe is second to none.

We strive to serve our community with care and compassion at the core of our duties.

Assisted by like-minded staff members, the team at CS Boswell offer transparency, high standards and modern facilities and practices. Ensuring those who rest within our care and their families are looked after in a respectful environment and are cared for in a way, we would want to be cared for ourselves.

We have funeral homes in Oxford, Kidlington and Bicester and are only a call away, should you ever require our services.

As the leading contractor for public services in the funeral profession for Oxfordshire. We ensure all those who are in our care are treated at the same level of respect, love and dignity.

Greg Buzzard

Having worked for a large funeral directors across Birmingham and Oxford for many years.
Greg joined CS Boswell in 2022 and is Funeral Director at our Kidlington and Bicester Funeral Homes.

Working alongside Carl and our team of funeral arrangers, Greg ensures those in our care and their families are served with compassion and transparency.

Joy Davies

Having joined the funeral profession in 2007, Joy has spent most of her career working alongside Carl at a previous funeral directors in Headington, Cowley and Botley, before joining CS Boswell in 2018.

Joy is Funeral Director of our Summertown Funeral Home and works alongside Sophie to ensure respect and compassion is at the forefront of those she serves and cares for.

Joy and Carl work closely together in the procurement and management process of public contracts, ensuring pricing and processes are maintained to protect the public purse. Joy is also examiner for the National Association of Funeral Directors, ensuring those taking their exams to become qualified in our profession, are educated to the correct level of practice.
