What a fantastic day attending the Millets Health Festival.

It was great to meet such a wide range of excellent clinics and practitioners, to have meaningful conversations around cross referring, and to spend time speaking with patients who are still experiencing ongoing symptoms that have not fully resolved. Events like this play an important role in moving patient care forward.
We also appreciated the opportunity to educate patients on the non steroid based treatments we offer, as well as to discuss the benefits of bedside diagnostics in musculoskeletal care and how this can support faster, more accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Most importantly, the day helped us strengthen our vision and drive our plans forward into 2026 with real momentum.

A huge thank you to Nikki Sharp from Heritage Physiotherapy for organising such a well run and engaging event. It was a pleasure to be involved.

Meet Nicola, an experienced sports rehab specialist with a strong background in strength & conditioning and Sport Rehabilitation, and a deep passion for high-performance sports.
Nicola knows the demands of elite competition firsthand, having competed at the national level in middle-distance running. Like many athletes, Nicola has faced injuries along the way, which has fuelled her determination to help others recover, rebuild, and return to doing what they love.
A self-confessed physio nerd, Nicola is dedicated to refining movement and optimizing recovery, ensuring her patients not only heal but also perform at their best. Her expertise in sport rehabilitation makes her an invaluable resource for anyone looking to return to activity and prevent future injuries.
But beyond her technical skills, Nicola brings energy, enthusiasm, and a sociable spirit that makes her a perfect fit for our team. She thrives in a collaborative environment and loves working closely with clients to create tailored recovery plans that support their individual goals.

Over 67% of people will experience shoulder pain their lives. One in 30 GP appointments are due to shoulder pain. It’s no wonder we see and treat this a lot in our clinic. Pain can be related to:

⚡️ Rotator Cuff Injury – This includes tears, strains, or inflammation (tendinitis) of the rotator cuff muscles and tendons, which stabilize the shoulder joint. It often causes pain with overhead movements

⚡️ Frozen Shoulder (Adhesive Capsulitis) – A condition where the shoulder joint capsule becomes thickened and stiff, limiting movement and causing significant pain, especially at night.

⚡️ Shoulder Impingement Syndrome – This occurs when the tendons of the rotator cuff or bursa are pinched between the shoulder bones, leading to pain with lifting or reaching overhead.

Early diagnosis is key to get people back to doing the things they love. This is performed through an in depth assessment and imaging if necessary. If you or someone you know is struggling with shoulder pain then come and see us!

We are very happy to announce our partnership with Sidas orthotics. Through this partnership we are now able to provide custom made orthotics for a wide range of MSK related foot and lower limb conditions.

Sidas products are often used by athletes and individuals experiencing foot pain or discomfort, and they offer a range of products that can be tailored to specific needs, such as insoles with metatarsal domes to alleviate pressure or support conditions like Morton's neuroma.
