Linda Jackson 🕊️💜

In Loving Memory of Linda, who sadly passed away on 7th May 2026, surrounded by so much love.

A beloved Daughter, Mother, Sister, Sister-in-law, Auntie, Nanny and Dear Friend whose love touched so many lives.

Linda was the heart of her family, a source of comfort, strength and kindness to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Though our hearts are broken by her passing, her gentle caring nature and beautiful smile will never be forgotten. Linda's memory will continute to live on in the stories we tell, the lessons she taught us, and the love she gave so freely.
Linda and Kelly Reunited Together Again 💜💜

A celebration of Linda's life will take place at St. John's Chapel, Oxford Crematorium on Friday 5th June 2026 at 1pm.

Horse and Carriage will be leaving the family home at 11:30am to arrive at Larkrise School for 11:40am, here we will take a moment to reflect before leaving and making our final journey to the crematorium.

Your presence is the greatest gift, in lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Linda, may consider a donation in her memory to The Kelly Jackson Memorial Fund and The Thames Valley Air Ambulance.

A splash of colour is welcomed to be worn.

11th - 17th MAY 2026 - MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK 🧠
This week is focused on supporting good mental health. This year the focus is on ‘Action’ - even small actions can help you or someone else feel hopeful and less powerless.

One thing that matters so much during difficult moments is knowing there is someone to turn to. Whether that’s a friend, a family member, or a professional support service, having someone listen without judgement.

Please share this post and if you know someone who may be struggling, send them these details. A simple conversation or connection could make all the difference 💚

VE Day celebrates the moment when World War II ended in Europe. After years of fighting, devastation, and unimaginable loss, May 8, 1945, brought the long-awaited news that N**i Germany had surrendered. The announcement was met with jubilant celebrations in cities, towns, and villages across the world, as millions took to the streets to rejoice.

Today it is a time to remember the military personnel who serve and also the countless civilians who have contributed to the war effort through extraordinary acts of courage and sacrifice. It serves as a historical milestone that highlights the importance of unity and perseverance, in darkest times

💛 4th - 10th DYING MATTERS AWARENESS WEEK💛

Every year, people use this week as a moment to get talking about death and dying in ways that feel right for them. This year’s theme, ‘Let’s Talk About Death and Dying’, is all about breaking down stigma and starting conversations. This is something our business leader Simon is passionate about - Death and bereavement affect us all, so we should talk about them. Dying Matters Week is an opportunity to raise awareness and encourage all communities to get talking.

Oxford Crematorium & Memorial Gardens opened in May 1939.
During the build, Author George Bernard Shaw bought shares in the project to allow the Crematorium to be completed.
During the last 87 years the Crematorium has been extended to 24 acres and to include a second chapel. There is also a memorial at the exit of St John’s Chapel which commemorates 47 servicemen and women of WW2 whose remains were cremated.
