On the 6th of June, we came together for a lovely tea party that brought joy to everyone. ✨☕

In the morning, our residents helped prepare colourful fruit and flower displays for the tables, and their smiles showed how proud they were of their beautiful work. The lounge was decorated with bright, cheerful flags, setting the scene for a warm and welcoming afternoon.

We enjoyed a tasty selection of biscuits, cheeses, and savoury snacks, with something for everyone to enjoy. There was laughter, gentle conversations, and moments of calm connection, a special time shared with friends, full of warmth, comfort, and happiness.💜

Last month, we marked Dementia Awareness Week by raising awareness to help break the stigma surrounding . We also encouraged open conversations between families and staff about how to support their loved ones living with dementia.

A quote from our team member, "With many years of experience in dementia care, including my role as a Dementia Champion in a previous workplace and being a registered Dementia Friend, I am passionate about promoting understanding and compassion in care."

To support our residents, we organised contributions from two charities last Christmas and Easter to help fund engaging and meaningful activities.☺️

🌞🐣💜 April at Gold Care Homes 💜🐣🌞

Our residents made the most of the glorious weather, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying plenty of outdoor fun.

We also celebrated Easter with joy, laughter, and meaningful moments shared between residents, staff, and families. 💐💕
