Diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer at the age of 26, Joanna faced a very tough journey, including chemotherapy and major surgery 🎗️. Despite knowing chemotherapy would harm her fertility, she pushed through with her treatment, focused on her survival.

After years of uncertainty and coming to terms with the loss of her natural fertility, Joanna and her partner Gary found hope through egg donation at TFP Fertility 🥚. They were matched with a donor closely resembling Joanna, making the process feel even more personal.

In 2024, their baby boy was born—a beautiful reminder that family is about love, courage, and hope, not just genetics 👶❤️.

A full circle moment at Boston Place 💛🎨

Yesterday, we had the joy of welcoming back a former patient, now a proud mum, along with her 7 year old daughter, who was born following fertility treatment at TFP Boston Place.

Her journey began in 2015 with two rounds of egg freezing at age 42, followed by an egg thaw and ICSI cycle with donor s***m in 2016.

Though the fresh cycle didn’t succeed, a frozen embryo transfer the following year did and the result was this bright, curious little girl who visited us last week.

She brought with her a beautiful painting, capturing her imagination and perhaps her interpretation of the place where her story began.

The mother wanted her daughter to see where it all happened - a powerful moment of connection, reflection and sincere gratitude.

Thank you to Dr Hauzman and the team for making space for this special visit.

These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do.
