Sports massage and soft tissue therapy is used to treat all manner of pains, injuries and conditions. Gone are the days of painful sports massage, as I will work within your pain range to ensure quick recovery - and not to be covered in bruises! Using advanced techniques I can assess and treat you, which will help to speed up your recovery and help minimise further injury. London Marathon is always an important time for me. Runners tend to see me regularly from 2/3 months in the run up to it and it’s so lovely when they come and get their post marathon massage so I can get the full story from the day. It’s a journey for both runner and therapist (though my part is wayyyyy easier!) and I always message them on the day to make sure they have come in safe.
This year I was delighted to share the journey with on his first ever marathon. He was a perfect client, doing everything he could to help himself and take onboard my professional advice (you’d be amazed how many don’t!). It was wonderful to hear his personal story to/during/after the marathon and see his weighty finishers medal! Well done Phil! You’ve been an inspiration and maybe I will do it one year!!

Today is International Single Working Women’s Day and I just need a moment to reflect on my ‘against all odds’ success but also to celebrate my fellow kickass Queens!

Single-handedly running a business is hard.

Single-handedly running a business is even harder when you are single handedly raising children at the same time.

But….

I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Complete freedom to live my life how I want but also run my business how I want.

And when reflecting on the life balance I managed to achieve, I really think that deserves celebrating!

Awww….I had an unexpected visitor in clinic yesterday! After a good sniff about, Milo got in some quality snooze time whilst his mum got some treatment in. Nice to see he was enjoying his time in clinic too! 🐾

Happy birthday 8th to ME!!!!

Wow, those years have flown and I could not be prouder of the business I have created.

Failure was never an option and I wanted to become one of the most reputable sports massage specialists, providing no nonsense, quality therapy that actually makes a difference!

And I actually did it!!

It’s been a bumpy road at times (yeah, thanks Covid 😷) but I don’t regret a second and I’m so lucky to work doing something I’m so passionate about!

Thank you to all my family, friends, colleagues, mentors and most importantly my incredible clients who have made my little pipe dream not only a reality but a roaring success!

Seven weeks ago, I injured my Achilles.
Long story short I couldn’t even walk, but today I ran 7.5k on a treadmill. Not record breaking speed, but I did it!!
So how have I turned this injury around so quickly?
I practice what I preach.

Ice and heat (alternating)
Lots of treatment (massage/cupping/taping)
Lots of rehab
Good nutrition
Lots of rest
Lots of sleep

It’s almost like I know what I’m doing 😁

Still a little way to go until I’m 100% but I’m super pleased with my progress 😃
