Steph’s journey is super-inspiring. After unexpectedly losing her husband, Steph decided to take control of her life and went on to lose nearly 6 stone with The 1:1 Diet. She’s also one of our shortlisted slimmers for our Woman of the Year Award.

There’s a 3 step process you need to go through to reach fat burning.

Firstly you have to lower your blood glucose
Secondly you have to use up your glycogen stores
Thirdly your body will start to metabolise fat stores for energy.
