There’s something truly special about stepping away from the noise of everyday life and giving yourself permission to pause, move, breathe and reconnect 🌿

These moments are from our last retreat in Dorset. A few days filled with Pilates, nature, laughter and deep rest. It’s always more than just a retreat… it’s an experience, a reset and walk away feeling refreshed and calm.

Our May retreat is now fully booked (and I’m so grateful!), but if you’ve been thinking about joining one and haven’t quite taken the leap yet… this is your sign 🌿

More retreats are coming and I’d absolutely love for you to be part of them.
And if you’ve ever dreamed of creating your own retreat, whether with friends, your community or something completely unique - I can help you bring it to life with my guidance, experience and beautiful venue.

Just send me a message and let’s start the conversation 🌿

In Pilates, it’s not about how fast you move, it’s about how well you move 🌿

Because the real results don’t come from rushing through reps…
they come from the moments you’re fully present, engaged and in control.

That’s where real, lasting changes happen🌿

Pilates can be a powerful and supportive approach for individuals living with chronic pain and complex health conditions, including neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Rooted in controlled, low-impact movement, Pilates focuses on improving core stability, alignment, flexibility, and body awareness. These elements are particularly beneficial for those managing persistent pain or fluctuating symptoms, as exercises can be carefully adapted to suit each individual’s needs, energy levels, and physical capabilities.

For people with chronic pain, Pilates may help to reduce muscular tension, improve posture, and enhance movement efficiency, often leading to decreased discomfort over time.

For individuals with complex or neurological conditions, Pilates can support balance, coordination, and functional strength, all of which are essential for maintaining independence and quality of life.

Importantly, Pilates encourages mindful movement and breath control, which can also have a positive impact on the nervous system, helping to reduce stress and improve overall wellbeing.🌿

When guided appropriately, Pilates is not about pushing through pain, but about working with the body in a safe, progressive and supportive way.

If you’re living with a long-term condition and looking for a gentle yet effective form of movement, Pilates may be a valuable part of your management plan.

We often think one Pilates class or one workout is enough… but real wellness goes so much deeper than that 🌿

At this wellness event, we brought movement and nutrition together to remind ourselves that how we fuel, rest and care for our bodies matters just as much as how we move them.

From mindful Pilates flows to colourful, nourishing food (and yes… chocolate pistachio fudge!), it was all about balance, not perfection.

Your body doesn’t just need exercise
It needs support, consistency, and care in every area of your life.

🌿Move well
🌿Eat well
🌿Rest well
🌿Live well

Last week, and I hosted a corporate wellness day centred around one simple question: How do you stay energised and focused all day? 🌿

The answer? It takes more than one thing.

Our team experienced:
- A dynamic Pilates class to activate and energise
- A nutrition talk and hands-on nourish bowl creation (fuelling your body matters!)
- A countryside walk to reconnect and to support blood sugar balance

It was a pleasure being a part of this educational event and being able to share my knowledge to help others feel more confident and stronger in their bodies.

I host mat Pilates classes at The Park Hub, Oxted - I’d love for you to join. Tap the link in my bio 🌿

Pilates instructors — do you feel fully confident teaching clients with back pain? 🌿

Back pain is one of the most common reasons people come to Pilates, yet many instructors tell me they still feel unsure about how best to support these clients.

At our recent workshop with , we spent the day helping instructors build a clearer understanding of back pain and develop the confidence to adapt, progress and teach with reassurance.

If you’d like to join the next workshop, we’d love to have you there.

You don’t always need a gym or a reformer to work on strength and balance. 🌿

Sometimes all you need is a pair of dumbbells, a bit of space in the garden… ( and a gym buddy 🐾)

In this little sequence I’m combining loaded walking, single-leg hopping and balance challenges to work on:

• lower limb strength
• balance and coordination
• impact tolerance
• bone and joint health

These are all really important for maintaining resilience in our bodies as we move through life.

I often encourage clients to practise simple drills like this at home because consistency beats complexity every time. Small amounts of movement done regularly can make a big difference to strength, confidence and overall function.

If you’re looking for simple, effective ways to build strength and confidence in your body, this is a great place to start.

Save this for later if you’d like to try it yourself. 🌿

Client feedback like this always means a lot. 🌿

One of the things I love most about teaching Pilates is seeing how small, well-guided movements can make such a big difference to how someone feels in their body.

My approach to Pilates is always focused on quality of movement - building strength, improving mobility and helping the body move more efficiently. When sessions are tailored properly, the benefits often show up not just in the studio, but in everyday life too.

Sleeping better, feeling lighter, moving more freely - these are the changes that really matter.

Thank you to my lovely clients for trusting me with their movement and progress.

Have you noticed a difference in your body since starting Pilates?🌿
