Few big thank yous today as we have been so busy and didn't actually leave the hub until 6pm tonight.
Our volunteers have worked so hard this week and worked long hours to try and get things done in the background.

Thankyou to a lovely man Justin who popped in with a Christmas card and left a donation inside.
It people like you that keep us going.

Massive thankyou to new era who brought lots of wrapped family Christmas gifts, for our Christmas appeal.

Thankyou to the lovely lady who dropped a full bag of wrapped new teddies for our Christmas appeal and thankyou again to Padiham and the whole community for just being amazing and helping again with our toy appeal.

We have been more busy this year with requests for help, at Christmas than ever.

The impact and the difference it makes to many families is amazing.

Thankyou for helping us make a difference.

Thankyou to radio Lancashire who help us spread the word every year.
We were to busy to get to the studio this year so our viv put herself on the radio which was an experience.

Tonight we need to thank our lovely volunteer Jillian Kinlin who again gave up an evening to let our local children come and do Christmas crafts.
Always a hit with the kids.

Without the help of the community and every single donation we couldn't do what we do.

Good evening Hubbers.

What a lovely day we've had today with our keep warm, keep safe, keep seen campaign.

We have had lots of donations again this afternoon of children's winter coats.

OUR THURSDAY CREW
Even though we are a little upside down, we WILL STILL be having our Christmas Jacobs join tomorrow.

Mince pies and a baileys.
Just please bare with us and we will open at 10.30 tomorrow instead of 10. This will give our volunteers time to put the table back.

Its gone so well today that we will be opening for coats etc again tomorrow from 12.30 until 3pm.

This will be our last official day of opening before Christmas, but we will be about again on Friday for Christmas donations and to get things ready for our Christmas appeal.

The hub padiham and our Preloved boutique both on Burnley Road Padiham would like to thank all the kindness from donations whether financial or stock for our shop and jumble sales or any appeal requests. Your support provides the community with mental health and wellbeing activities and a hub to help combat loneliness and isolation. Everypenny donated goes back into the community. Every appeal we run helps people and struggling families in a time costs of living gets worse.

So Christmas is nearing and nearly time our hardworking volunteers gets some festive family time. We close for the holidays on Friday 19th December 2025 and will reopen on Monday 6th January 2026.

We have some new therapeutic activities coming in the new year. Lego therapy, grief support group and music therapy/creative writing.

We would like to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a positive new year.

Hi guys, don't forget, it's the last mindfulness of the year tomorrow. As it's our last we will be doing a quick mindfulness exercise then cracking on with a festive film. I've chosen one with a big star cast including Liam neesan, Suzanne Jones, pierce brosnan. I'm putting some nibbles and popcorn out for us and if you want to add to it you may bring along.

6pm till 8pm maybe a few mins later finish
