Thank you to Richard Killick for the lovely homemade cakes, a chocolate and cherry, a strawberry sponge both filled with fresh cream, and a fruit cake! Very much appreciated and will no doubt be washed down with a lovely cup of tea. These wont last long 😋

A big celebration today! Our lovely resident Trish celebrated her hundredth birthday! Celebrations started yesterday with a lunch on dartmoor. Today family and staff celebrated with an amazing cake made by Kate. A card from the King! Here's to many more years ###

Jack the pony came to visit us on Wednesday, residents and staff loved meeting him. Plenty of carrots consumed! Thanks to Anne for bringing him in xx

Yesterday some of the care team attended an annual refresher on moving and handling, keeping us up to date with best practice to keep the residents and ourselves safe.
We took the opportunity to have domino's pizza for lunch which was well received!

This week we enjoyed entertainment from Bing Lyle the accordionist while enjoying the sunshine in the garden and of course, ice lollies!

On Sunday we had our annual garden party, despite the weather it was a great day! Fortunately the rain held off for a while. Entertainment by Mawgan Stott had everyone joining in , lovely food and drink, great raffle prizes. Thank you to all who attended, residents, family, friends and staff. The staff team were amazing working together to make it such a lovely memorable day for all!!

Over the last few weeks the amazing Pippins team have been updating their emergency first aid training. this week was the turn of the management and seniors. It's always good to refresh our knowledge and know that we can continue to provide the best care for our Residents, and staff/visitors if needed. Congratulations as all passed with 100%!! Well done!!
