The Newton Abbot branch is reminding everyone to take extra care as the temperatures soar. 🥵

✅ Top Tips:
💧 Drink water regularly – even if you’re not thirsty
🌞 Keep curtains closed to block direct sunlight
🕒 Avoid going out between 11am–3pm
🌀 Use a fan or a cool damp cloth to stay refreshed

This week our Newton Abbot branch had the pleasure of being trained by Devon and Somerset fire services in ‘Trigger point awareness’.

This training programme helps develop skills which staff can use to begin to identify any potential fire hazards and to recognise when a referral to the fire services is necessary.

We were also able to be joined by the housing providers team from Sanctuary housing, and look forward to working together to get others safe.
