Direct Cremation? Don't use a national company...
There are many national companies that provide this type of service, many of which come down from 'up country' in a commercial van and collect multiple deceased persons on mass, as it makes them more money.
We don't agree with this practice, as it is not only undignified but also causes deceased to be left in Hospital mortuaries for days, sometimes weeks, unbeknown to their loved ones.
At Stockman & Loram, our Direct Cremation option still benefits from the same care and respect that we are renowned for. We look after the deceased in our local Chapels of Rest in Brixham and Paignton and the cremation takes place at a local Crematorium, rather than being taken anywhere in the country.
