Halloween Arts and Crafts over the last week has shown how many talented artists we have in the building! 👻🎃💀

We have decorated wooden pumpkins and pebbles, made our own spooooky ghosts and some Halloween themed colouring to add to our gallery.

It’s lovely to see some of our residents helping each other with their artwork and sharing ideas! 💡

🦸‍♀️ Superhero Day Fun! 🦸‍♂️

Today we celebrated Superhero Day with our amazing residents! We had such a fantastic time learning about different superheroes, sharing stories, and dressing up as our favorites. 💥🕶️✨
It was a day full of smiles, laughter, and heroic spirit — because we all have a little superhero inside us! 💪❤️

Our lovely resident, Elaine, enjoyed being in the lounge today with 3 other female residents listening to Elvis songs.

I wasn’t quick enough with the camera to get a picture of the beaming smile and laugh she gave me when I sang some of the lyrics to her, but it made my day and is a memory I will forever have ❤️

1:1 quality time with our 🎺Resident of the Day🎺
Jean enjoyed sensory activities which featured, touch, sight and smell.

Jean touched various different sensory mats.
Enjoyed some essential oils aromatherapy to provide a relaxing smell while we enjoyed listening to some 50s rock and roll music moving on to watch Mary berry cook a chocolate cake followed by a tour of Totnes, where Jean is from, on the iPad.

These were all things personal to Jean which made it a very pleasant and rewarding activity to do.

Yesterday afternoon we had a visit from AnimalHQ man with his vast array of fluffy and non fluffy animals.

I think we can all agree our residents thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it ❤️

This week, we celebrated Tea Day with our wonderful residents! Everyone enjoyed tasting a variety of delicious tea flavours — from classic English Breakfast to fruity and herbal blends. ☕✨

Alongside our tea tasting, we had lots of fun with tea-themed arts and crafts, a word search, and a quiz to test our tea knowledge! It was a lovely, relaxing day filled with laughter, creativity, and, of course, plenty of tea! ☕️🫖
