🏃🏼‍♀️ I thought it was time to do a quick shout out to these 3 waterbabies turned, running women! Normally, it's me that comes up with crazy challenges, competition entries, and all things want to join me to do this, BUT I can take zero, zilch, nill, nada, no credit for this madness! This is all on our .holman

🏃🏼‍♀️ Deb's loves a monthly challenge, and this time, she has dragged us in with her! We 4 are running 100 miles in October....this can be daily 5k's or longer runs as long as the total hits 100 by October 31st! That's 400 miles between us! With all 4 of us pledging to donate £1 for each run we do to our fundraising page , I have also pledged to donate an extra £1 for every person who joins me for a run through October!

🏃🏼‍♀️ Tonight, I asked my 3 sirens to answer this question : How much do you enjoy running every day?

🏃🏼‍♀️ Deb's said, " I enjoy the sense of pride I've had so far from running 5km 4 times WITHOUT having to walk, and especially because I've done all of them after a workout." Makes me want to keep doing it 😊I hate how slow kms 1-3 go, but then enjoy 4-5 when I push myself and up the speed

🏃🏼‍♀️ Corinne said, " I don’t mind the first K, then I don’t like it at all. And around 4K to 5K I am seriously reconsidering my friend group then as soon as it’s over I am ecstatic and have a wonderful sense of achievement, especially on the days when I have worked out already, so it’s like a bonus workout

🏃🏼‍♀️ Jojo said, " My favourite thing about running is when I get to the end - short and sweet just like her

September 10th marks World Su***de Prevention Day

Sometimes the hardest words to say are the most important. Talking about difficult feelings can be hard and scary.

We want you to know that the Chilly Nips gang are always available, for the big conversations and the small. We want to help shift our culture away from one of silence and stigma, to one of openness, understanding and support.

If we can talk more openly about su***de, we can give people the chance to express how they feel and get the support they need. This could even save a life.

We'd love for you to join us, tonight at 8pm, in lighting a candle to show your support for su***de prevention, to remember a loved one and for the survivors of su***de.

We meet in person every Saturday morning, but the Chilly Nips community is only ever a message away 💜

🧘🏼‍♀️ 7:30am Beach Yoga, Join the amazing Jo as she takes us through a 30-minute flow, gentle stretch and breath work

👙 8am Wild Dip, possible pier swim for those that want to join us

☕️ 8:30 am Coffee from the gang at The Rugga Shack, who have recently done a collaboration with our Corinne who has supplied them with some yummy vegan delights, so make sure you check them out 😋

🌄 The best morning with the crew, little Ruben joined us today and was first in showing us how it's done!

🌄 Clear skies, soft sand, and calm waters. What a treat!

🎂 We didn't have a birthday this week so we missed cake! We are thinking that we may start doing a bake off each week as the weather improves because cake just makes life happier!

🌊 Same time next week dippers 8am!

Our WHY....

1 in 4 people will experience difficulties with their mental health at some point in their lives. That means there's a very good chance of someone in the room with you right now, or even you, being one of these people.

Community and feeling a part of something is super important for promoting better mental health. It provides a sense of belonging, support, and purpose for everyone involved, and is a source of solidarity against something that can tear people's lives apart.

Chilly Nips is a community for everyone. While our original plan was for people to dip once a week, every week, throughout 2024, this isn't a requirement of being in the gang. Whether you come to dip or to watch while enjoying a coffee and a chat, you are a Nipper.

is a leading UK charity supporting those with any and all mental health difficulties. They are with you every step of the way of your journey, providing backup, a safe place to talk, and a wealth of supporting information. We chose to support Mind because we believe in every single thing they stand for.

We appreciate all of the support and donations we've received so far this year. Whether you dip, chat, watch, or follow from afar , you are all a part of our team, and we are grateful to each and every one of you.
