10 Years to the day that I submitted Mt Kilimanjaro with 35 other amazing students and a load of amazing guides, and here are 10 things I've learnt about life from that experience and since then:
1, Happiness over everything and anything.
2, Being surrounded by likeminded individuals will get you further than you ever thought.
3, Struggles, whilst seeming never ending, will always end and make you stronger for it.
4, You'll never see a sunrise as beautiful until you've been above the clouds.
5, You'll never see stars and the galaxy the same way until you've been above the clouds.
6, Those who have little, have a lot. Those who have a lot, have little.
7, Your true strength is always brought out when you truly need it.
8, Even if you dislike jaffa cakes, they'll always taste amazing at camp after a long day of hiking.
9, African people will genuinely do anything for you for nothing in return because they are the most caring of people.
10, Do the thing that scares you the most and do it with as many people as you can.
I could write 100 more of these, but which one resonates with you the most? Comment below with which one.
