A great outcome today for this patient that has a significant leg length difference following hip replacement surgery.

She has been waiting for a referral to the orthotist for 12 months, requiring to walk on her tip toes to compensate for the differing leg length. She gave the clinic a call to see if we could help.

In terms of economy the adjustment to existing footwear has cost 60 pounds and 1 week to resolve. In terms of quality of life the raise will make a huge difference for her. I often have many patients ask me about my dogs so I thought I'd put a picture to show you! We have a very busy week in the clinic this week involving steroid injections, nails surgery and routine appointments with my regular patients. However, please be rest assured that the dog sitters have been organised and they will be getting their usual one hour walk after the clinic. Some of my family members will be helping out on the reception which I am very grateful for and I am sure they will serve you well. See you soon and have a great week!

Everyone here at the foot clinic would like to say thank you very much to the one and only Danny Hall Stapleton! He has now left the clinic after almost 30 years since the clinic was initially founded and I am sure he will be very sadly missed by the staff and all of our patients alike. We enjoyed the opportunity to be with him on Friday night and wish him a very happy future and I personally will be eternally grateful to the faith and time he has given to me, both of which are as great a gift as anybody could give! I will hopefully be continuing the great work he has done by serving the people of Paignton and beyond and make him proud!
