🚨 Scam Awareness Reminder 🚨
At Love2care, keeping our clients safe and supported goes beyond care—it also means helping protect you from potential scams. Sadly, scammers often target vulnerable people, using phone calls, texts, emails, or even doorstep visits to trick you into giving away money or personal information.
👉 Here are some key things to remember:
✔️ Banks, the NHS, HMRC, and other official organisations will never ask you for your PIN, passwords, or to transfer money.
✔️ Don’t click on links or attachments in unexpected emails or texts.
✔️ Never feel pressured to make quick decisions—take your time.
✔️ If someone knocks on your door unexpectedly, always check their ID and don’t be afraid to say no.
✔️ If in doubt, talk it through with a trusted family member, friend, or carer before taking any action.
Your safety is our priority. 💙 If you ever feel unsure, it’s always better to double-check.
You can report suspicious messages or calls to Action Fraud (0300 123 2040) or forward scam texts to 7726 (free).
Together, we can stop scammers in their tracks. 💪
