Kenneth Keegan Independent Funeral Directors

Kenneth Keegan Independent Funeral Directors Local Independent Funeral Directors serving Paisley and Renfrewshire.

After ten years of working for a large national company of funeral directors – gaining my advance diploma in Funeral Directing in August 2006, I made the decision to open my own independent funeral home in Paisley, Renfrewshire. I took this decision as I passionately believe families and their loved one’s should be our top priority. I believe that all bereaved families deserve a local funeral director who can offer flexibility in all aspects of the service they provide, allowing arrangements to be tailored to their personal wishes at an affordable cost and best value to them. At Kenneth Keegan Independent Funeral Directors we consider it an honour that a family makes the decision to entrust their loved one into our care. We take great pride in all we do and we’re proud to be able to offer this dignified, professional service. Being totally independent gives us flexibility to manage the funeral home at a local level which can directly affect the service we provide to our clients and the wider community. Kenneth Keegan Independent Funeral Directors is an appointed representative of Golden Charter Limited trading as Golden Charter Funeral Plans which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN:965279).

This Valentine's Day, our thoughts are with those who have loved and perhaps lost. Our window is decorated with love hearts, balloons, and flowers as a symbol of the enduring power of love. We hope if you have passed this window this week it has brought a smile and warmth to your heart.
While holidays like this can be challenging, we want to remind people to choose love today and always – for others and for themselves. Wishing you a gentle day.

Stepping out for a cause close to our hearts 👣
At Kenneth Keegan Independent Funeral Directors, we believe in supporting our community through every stage of life. That’s why on Saturday, 25th April, our team will be lacing up their walking boots for this year’s Glasgow Kiltwalk!

This year, we are proud to be walking in aid of Rays of Hope Cancer Support. They do incredible work providing a sanctuary and support for those affected by cancer, and we want to help them continue their vital mission.

We’d love your support! Whether it’s a cheer from the sidelines or a small donation, every bit helps us reach the finish line.

"Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind?" 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

On Burns Night, we reflect on the themes of friendship, memory, and the enduring legacy of those who came before us. Robert Burns had a unique gift for capturing the heart of the human experience, and today we honor that spirit.

Wishing our local community a peaceful and meaningful Burns Night.

💜 Remembering Together: The Memory Tree 💜
We know that the loss of a loved one to su***de carries a unique weight. Often, the hardest part is feeling like you’re carrying that grief alone.

We want to invite our local community to Renfrewshire’s annual Memory Tree service in Paisley. This is more than just an event; it’s a quiet, supportive space to honor those we miss and to stand together in strength.

When & Where:
🗓 Thursday, 22nd January
📍 Renfrewshire House, Paisley
✨ 3:30 PM: Come inside the Customer Contact Centre to write a personal message on a purple heart to hang on the tree.
✨ 4:15 PM: The memorial service begins outside at the tree.

Afterward, everyone is warmly invited to Paisley Abbey for light refreshments and a chance to chat with the Provost, local support groups, and the Choose Life team.
Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, you are welcome here. Let’s break the silence and remember the lives that meant so much to us.

Can’t make it? If you’d like a heart placed on the tree in your absence, please email the team at: chooselife.sw@renfrewshire.gov.uk

A gift of hope from our community 🌟

We are so incredibly moved by the generosity shown during our Christmas Tree Appeal. Thanks to your kind donations for our memorial stars, Kelly and Janice were able to present a cheque for £320 to Renfrewshire Bereavement Network .

These funds will go directly toward supporting their vital bereavement counseling services, ensuring that no one in our community has to navigate grief alone. Each star on our tree represented a loved one remembered, and now, those memories are helping provide light to others in their darkest hours.

Thank you for helping us turn remembrance into a beautiful gift for others.
