Just got a Ray-Ban delivery in, we LOVE Ray-Ban 😍

Once upon a time not too long ago - before Tom Ford & Tiffany, before Prada & Prue - we had Ray-Ban, Ray-Ban were our first BIG brand & when we heard what the minimum order was Lynn s**t herself (metaphorically speaking 😂)..

We had to order 70 a year and she panicked - “What if we don’t sell 70, I’ve worked in practices that don’t make those numbers”..

I, on the other hand was a bit more relaxed “What if we don’t sell 70, what’s the worst that can happen ? They’ll take the account off us but no-one will die & they won’t take the house, f*** it, let’s try it”..

In that 1st year we sold 150, 3 years ago it was over 500, this year has been our quietest year for a while & it’s still nearly 200 with 3 months to go 😁

So, here’s the thing…

They were never intended for mass consumption, they’re going into the gift bags for ACCORD Hospice Ladies Lunch on 4th October - we’re one of the event sponsors, but…

The attention they got yesterday, with lots of you saying how you’d like one got us thinking - so, we’ve ordered another 500 & we’ll sell them for £3 each & 100% of the profits will go to ACCORD Hospice 😁

It’s not a part of the standard test, which is why many opticians will charge you a fee for it - £10-£40 depending on where you go…

If you come to us - it’s free, it’s performed as part of your test at no extra cost & takes seconds, we chose to get this piece of equipment - not you, we’ll pay for it - not you 🤓
