My name is David Roy and I am a member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants. I officiate at Non-religious funerals and funerals that require a certain amount of spirituality. Funeral services are an important part of our journey as they give families and friends a safe place to show their emotions as they say their final farewell's to they're loved one. We work closely with family and friends and indeed the funeral directors to bring about a service that is befitting of their family member. We invite the family to share with us personal stories and treasured memories. With the families permission we speak to friends and hear their stories.If the family require a particular poem or words of blessing these to will be sourced and used. Funerals services and the gathering that may be held afterwards are a unique way to mourn a passing and we believe more importantly to celebrate a life. Shared memories that make people smile and laugh can be a great help to the families and make sure that the deceased lives on in our hearts forever.
