Let’s talk about FIBRE! 🌾
Fibre is the often over looked part of muscle recovery/aid when recovering from the gym/exercise! Most people would know or be told that Protein/sleep/water/carbs etc are key parts of recovery…which they are but are never told about FIBRE!!
Fibre helps:
- stabilise blood sugar for sustainable energy
- Decrease inflammation
- Helps the body absorb nutrients ultimately helps promote recovery in the body
This will all help the body and muscles speed up recovery after the gym!
Another reason fibre is so important, it decreases the risk of colon cancer‼️
Many people today don’t meet the required daily amount of fibre within their diet which contributes to the reason as to why colon cancer is one of the uk’s & USA’s biggest cancer!
