We have a huge selection of new frames including Rayban, Guess, Bauhaus, Dario Martini and Mint Magnetics (that's the ones with the clip-on night driving and sunglass attachments). Lots of budget and midrange designs too. Something for everyone, aren't we wonderful?

So it turned out to be more than a light breeze. We'll need to source a sign writer. Better still, a reward if anyone finds it in their garden or street. Don't know what the reward will be yet but will probably be linked to chocolate and alcohol.

Due to the impending apocalypse we have decided to close the practice tomorrow (Friday) and watch Bargain Hunt instead.

As from 1st October the Paisley practice will be under new management and will be called Spex Appeal. I have decided it’s time to spend a little less time in the consulting room and the best way to achieve that is to concentrate on one practice solely and that practice is Saltcoats.
People of Paisley, I will miss you. To a fault you have been friendly and down to earth. You have laughed at my quips, been patient when I’ve been running behind and best of all, you have not defected to the Jolly Green Giant across the road.
You have also presented me with plenty of unusual and interesting cases over the years. I’d like to think I’ve managed them all to the best of my ability and that my decision making was pretty sound. We always got there in the end.
Thanks to Jill and Heather for being so loyal over the last ten years and most importantly being so great at their jobs. I couldn’t have done it without them as I’m generally useless at the non-clinical stuff.
Jill and Heather will both be staying on with Spex Appeal under the stewardship of Lynn Collum (who was once manager here when under a different ownership). Your records will still be there and I hope you continue to give them your support in the future.

The Paisley practice is closed tomorrow, Saturday 2nd, as we will be away celebrating Jill's wedding. Congratulations to Jill and Andy!

The problem with photographing rimless frames is that you can't really see them very well. Anyway, calling all rimless fans, we have a new selection of frames to choose from and they are available at both the Saltcoats and Paisley stores. In fact we have a lot of new stock from designer to budget.
