Eye Club proudly opens its doors with an evolutionary approach to medical eyecare and the eyewear retail environment. At our Berkshire practice we strive to deliver clinical excellence for your eye health, supported with outstanding and outgoing customer service. Our eyewear collections are sourced from around the globe, and, like us, are strictly independent companies. We represent thoughtfully created, independently owned brands, all handcrafted in small ateliers in different parts of the world. Luxury or non luxury, that is the binding theme of our collections. We dispense using the most advanced independent lens companies, with the ability to cater for all optical customer demands. The Eye Club core belief is that your choice of frames should embrace and communicate your personality type, and we are committed to ensuring you are styled and fitted appropriately to your satisfaction. After all, as a spectacle wearer, your choice in eyewear is the first point of visual communication for your sense of style and character. As a company, we are immersed in timeless style, visual arts, literature, great music, world travel and the finer things in life, and these qualities are well represented in the lifestyle goods section of the boutique. We love bon viveurs and raconteurs, and although we take our customers' needs very seriously, we don't necessarily apply that to ourselves. a Sunday roast with Yorkshire puddings that defy gravity, apologising when someone else bumps into you, tea properly brewed in bone china, Marmite loyalties that divide families, tweed that has outlived its original owner, queuing like it’s a national sport, rain arriving with impeccable timing, cucumber sandwiches cut with military precision, polished wood and quiet murmurs in a members’ club, strawberries and cream at Wimbledon, drafty country houses and very good silverware, a stiff upper lip in the face of mild inconvenience, sarcasm delivered with surgical precision, discussing the weather like it’s breaking news, warm ale in a pub older than most countries, red post boxes in the drizzle, pocket squares folded just so, humour so dry it needs tea, biscuits sacrificed to the dunk, the BBC quietly narrating the nation, a Barbour jacket with stories to tell, platform announcements nobody fully understands, gin and tonic served with ceremony, hedgerows and winding country lanes, and the quiet belief that tea fixes everything.
