Standing at the edge of the largest hanging bridge in Selvatura Park, Monteverde — over 500 feet long and more than 100 feet above the forest floor — I had a moment.
Was I scared? Absolutely.
But I felt the fear and did it anyway. Why? Because I know myself. I know that if I backed out, I’d be having that internal argument all day — “You could have done it… why didn’t you?”
So I stepped forward. Into the mist, into the treetops, into the unknown.
And I’m so glad I did….Crossing that bridge left me feeling completely invigorated ,alive, grounded, and buzzing with energy. It reminded me what I’m capable of when I push through the fear.
A good thing too… because that was just a warm-up. Next up was a 1km long zip wire soaring high above the rainforest canopy!😆
When was the last time you felt the fear and did it anyway?
