Hey just to say I am still here in the background and apologies for the quietness on posts recently. We've have a lot of birthdays going on in our household including one this weekend so that's taken over a bit 😁🥳 but wax melt and candle creations have still been made in the background!!

Happy new year to all my lovely customers and friends 💕
I truly hope 2024 is a good year for you all however that may look to you or whatever that might mean to you.
For some of us it might just be about survival and keeping our heads above water for others it could be about having big plans! Either way it's your year so make it a good one!😊
For us here at Smith's wellbeing we hope to launch some new scents and some new candle ideas soon so watch this space. I hope to continue my business/hobby for another year providing people keep buying my creations lol 🤣. I hope to keep continuing to enjoy my new role as an apprenticeship assessor in my other job and most importantly I hope to keep having lots of time with my family especially my little boy because they are the most important thing to me 🤗

That's it, all orders are in and completed I'm finally signing out for the year. Thank you to all your orders since I started my little business back up, it's been greatly appreciated and helped me to get back to being creative!
Looking forward to spending Christmas with my family and seeing mine and my husband's hard-work all year pay off, when we get to see the smile on our little ones face 🤗☺️

Delivered this gorgeous gift set this morning!☺️💕
This is a name plaque gift set for a special mum out there for Christmas - orange and cinnamon scented hearts and mulled wine scented name plaque.
This customer requested it to be gift wrapped 🎁 chose their own scents and colours for the set and I did the rest 😁
They also wanted a little gel melt for themselves because why not treat yourself! So this is a roasted coffee and vanilla gel melt pod ☕

Ran out of winter berry scent so was sent an alternative.... White nectarine and actually it smells lush! So this customer is trying it out for me!☺️

Sorry I've been a little quiet recently as you can see below I've been enjoying some quality family time and getting into the festive spirit 🦌😍🎄 plus also this is my busiest time of the year with Xmas gift orders! So keep forgetting to post what I'm doing 🤦 haha

So now it's December I can officially start talking about Christmas 🎄🤣
Me and my husband are so excited this year because our little boy is at that age now where it's really exciting for him and he understands everything! So the magic has officially landed in our household 🥰😍
We've always had a fake tree ....
I think ours is about 10 years old now 🙈 so my question is do you get real or fake trees? Are real really worth it?

So you’re probably wondering who is behind Smith’s Wellbeing Therapy? Well......
My name is Anna and my main job role currently is a Lecturer in Business studies and Travel and Tourism and I am also the Level 2 Business Programme Lead at a local college. I have been working in Further Education for over 10 years now and thoroughly enjoy my job. I get great satisfaction from seeing all my students succeed and reach their target grade or even their aspirational grade on their course. I am personally qualified in the following areas; CERT Ed in Post Compulsory Education, Microsoft Certificate in Enhance Technology in Teaching, A1 Assessors Award, Level 5 ILM Leadership and Management, Level 1 and Level 4 Counselling including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Advanced Diploma in Reflexology and NQF Level 3 Support Practioner Certificate.
I started my career as an in class support worker at the local college supporting a variety of students with learning difficulties to achieve their chosen vocational course. It was actually my own teachers that use to teach me at the college that invited me back to take this new role on at the age of 19! I have always worked really hard and I steadily progressed up the career ladder, eventually reaching leadership level where I now manage my own vocational courses. I have enjoyed all my roles at the college and loved working with so many talented students over the years, however, teaching in that type of environment comes with many piles of paperwork and teaching sometimes suffers due to the additional responsibilities you have. That is not what I signed up for, teaching should be the main focus and I am not the type of person who can just teach a mediocre lesson and leave at 5pm thinking that's it, my job is done. I am a very conscientious person and I'm dedicated to all my students because I want to see them succeed. This has now driven me to take the leap of faith and set up my own Counselling and Wellbeing business to continue my passion in life which is to support and help people to develop themselves and overcome any barriers that may be in their life. Sometimes we all have to take that leap of faith in order to discover our full potential. The liberating feeling I get from being my own boss is quite incredible. Making the decision to reduce my hours in my current job and move away from a regular income to set up my own business, was not without risk and a lot of fear but I finally feel in control of my career for the first time…and I love it! As I said above I still thoroughly enjoy my role at the college but being able to manage my sessions the way that suits me and my clients is the best feeling in the world.
