As 2025 draws to a close, it’s quite an emotional one for me as this year I hosted my very first Fertility Wellness Retreat 🩷

Being able to help and support a group of ladies who were all in desperate need of emotional support during their fertility journey was incredibly special and so rewarding 🩷

No one really prepares you for how hard it is to launch and build a business, but seeing the ladies connect, share stories and feel a deeper sense of support, and hope for the future during their fertility journey made all the setbacks and self-doubt worth it ✨

Thank you to everyone who has helped to make 2025 special for Fertility Retreats, the new friends I have made and of course everyone who attended the Fertility Wellness Retreat. Thank you for trusting me, opening your hearts and allowing me to be part of your fertility journey. It really was an honour 💕

I’m ending 2025 knowing that two of the incredible ladies who attended my Fertility Wellness Retreat are now pregnant after undergoing fertility treatment, which is absolutely amazing and a reminder of why I created my business – to help people emotionally during their time of need 🩷

Gentle movement such as yoga can be a powerful source of emotional support for anyone trying to navigating the challenges of conceiving as slow, mindful movement can help to calm an overstimulated nervous system, release built-up tension, create an inner sense of calm during an often stressful time, and ease feelings of overwhelming grief and isolation 🩷

This nurturing approach is exactly why we include gentle movement sessions in all our Fertility Wellness Retreats to help our guests to improve their emotional wellbeing and to create a safe space healing ✨

Last Thursday was such a special day as I welcomed a wonderful group of ladies to my Rest & Restore Fertility Wellness Retreat💕

Watching everyone connect, share, and open up about their fertility journeys was incredibly special, and being able to offer the emotional support that everyone so desperately needed meant so much to me 🩷

The feedback has been amazing, and reminded me why I started my little business in the first place 💫

Yesterday was such an amazing day as I had the pleasure of welcoming a group of truly special ladies to our Rest & Restore Fertility Wellness Retreat at our wonderful host venue Grassfield Hall ❤️

We began the day with fertility supporting drinks and nibbles which set the tone for a day filled with nourishment & self-care, and created a warm and gentle space for connection right from the start ✨

The day unfolded with a wonderful deeply calming and relaxing Yoga Nidra session by the lovely Carrie at Yoga Maison which helped our guests to improve their emotional wellbeing and to gently let go of stress and anxiety feelings 💕

A vibrant and delicious fertility friendly plant based lunch served by our wonderful chef Paula: Living Life by Design followed which was rich in vitamins and minerals, high in fibre and protein and full of healthy fats to support fertility health from within 🌿

Next was our nurturing and relaxing Balance Your Hormones Through Nutrition Workshop also delivered by Paula which offered guidance on how specific nutrition can support hormonal balance, boost overall wellbeing, and offered practical tips on how nourishing choices can help our guests feel revitalised and balanced during every step of their fertility journey 💚

Our Self Compassion and Self Resilience Session was next which invited everyone to reconnect with their inner strength. Delivered by our fantastic Fertility Counsellor Gemma Antcliffe Counselling this session provided a safe and supportive space to allow our guests to explore their emotions that are often associated with the challenges of conceiving. Through gentle guidance and shared connection, this session offered comfort, insight and compassion which left our guests felt supported and less isolated 💞

We ended the day with a deeply nurturing holistic session also delivered by Carrie at Yoga Maison which combined gentle breathwork, soothing sound vibrations and calming tones to help promote natural balance within the body. This restorative session helped our guests to release tension and negative emotions, and support thier overall emotional wellbeing 💫

As night fell and the day came to an end, our guests left with a thoughtful gift bag and a deeper sense of support, connection and hope on their fertility journey 🤍

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and everyone who helped to support this special Fertility Wellness Retreat. You all made the day feel truly special and magical 💕

Trying to conceive can feel emotionally overwhelming at times, so caring for your mind and body is essential 🩷

Here are some simple ways you can support your emotional wellbeing, wherever you are in your fertility journey:

🧘‍♀️ Mindfulness
Take a few moments each day to slow down & breathe deeply which helps to ease stress, release negative emotions and maintain a healthy mindset.

🥦 Healthy Diet
Fuel your body with nourishing foods to support hormones. Keeping the body continually nourished with good food choices can help to enhance and optimise fertility health.

💧 Drinking Water
Hydration supports hormone balance, mental clarity and overall vitality. Drinking 8 glasses of water a day can boost energy levels and reduce stress.

🚶‍♀️ Gentle Exercise
Movement releases endorphins and reduces anxiety. Gentle exercise can help achieve a healthy BMI, boost your mind and reduce anxiety.

🌿 Connect With Nature
Connecting with nature helps calm the nervous system. Spending time in the sunshine helps the body to produce Vitamin D which can help to support ovulation and improve s***m quality.

😴 Embrace Relaxation
Schedule moments of calm as simply doing nothing and prioritising self-care can help to relax an emotionally overwhelmed mind & calm the nervous system.

🌙 Sleep
Aim for a minimum of 8 hours sleep every night to help balance key fertility hormones, and improve the immune system which helps to reduce inflammation in the body.

World Mental Health Day 2025

Sending love to everyone who is trying to navigate the challenges of conceiving and struggling with their mental health as we mark World Mental Health Day 🩷

Some of the strongest people you know may be silently struggling to become parents and it’s important to remember that the journey to parenthood is difficult for 1 in 6 couples.

For those struggling to conceive, the emotional impact can be extremely overwhelming and can leave many people feeling alone, isolated, and grieving deeply for a child that is longed for 🩷

It’s important to acknowledge that infertility is not just a medial issue, but an emotional rollercoaster as well. The mental health impact is REAL, yet so many people suffer in silence.

If you’re suffering right now, then please remember:

🩷Your pain is valid
🩷Your story matters
