You don’t have to go through your healthcare journey alone. Our NHS Bridge Builder volunteers can be there with you.

Bridge Builders offer friendly, practical support to help you feel more at ease for your hospital appointments.

They can:
• Help you find your way around the hospital.
• Support you to prepare for your appointment while you wait.
• Sit in the appointment (if you wish) acting as an “extra pair of ears”.
• Spend time with you afterwards to check next steps. If you have any questions, they will report these back to the clinic directly.

We are here weekdays from 0830-1800 to help patients however if you are unwell and cannot wait until we reopen you can contact NHS24 on 111 for support. This may be an out of hours GP appointment, an appointment at minor injuries or you may be signposted to one of the below services.
