I passionately believe kids should train in gyms

Not because it’s better than (insert your fave sport)

Us adults are largely a mess - way too many people feel exercise is only to be done in order to feel less fat. Imagine a world where a child’s relationship with exercise never lets that happen

Imagine a world where a kid starting training now never walks into a gym for anything other than how good it makes them feel.

Life has a many ways of stealing parents energy.

But of all the time we ever spend in the presence of our kids - way over half of it will be gone by the time they leave school

On a personal level - having the energy to be as involved as possible feels like the biggest gift I could offer them right now

On a professional level - helping other parents live with a bit more oomph is the something I’ll always be obsessed with

Why bother getting a trainer when you can do it by yourself?…

Well sometimes all of us fall off track with the things we know we should be doing - we’re human and that means by our very nature we’re flawed

Whether you go it alone or raise your hand for help - the most important thing is the bit that actually gets done (and done well!)

The end of an era!

Today is the final sessions that the amazing has delivered for us.

It’s been nothing but an honour to have this amazing person and coach support us over the years. Kay is off to dominate the running world with her brilliant online coaching service over at and while we will miss her coaching with us, the future will be incredibly bright for Kay!

Why on earth would anyone work with a Personal Trainer if you can just “jab yourself slim”?

Training alone has never been THAT great for losing weight…but what it IS great for is helping you become

✅ Stronger and more resilient
✅ Fitter and less fragile
✅ More confident and less anxious
✅ More energy and less moany
✅ Less aches and more experiences

It’ll help you live happier
It’ll almost certainly help you live longer

Ain’t no jab offering all of that anytime soon

This is possibly the most important programme we have ever created - and it is now open for registration.

Starting May 6th and running for 6 weeks - our Curious Confidence programme will change the lives of kids (and their families) forever

Your child will get access to a weekly training session with us - helping them not just get fitter and stronger - but helping them to feel inspired.

Your child will have a Daily journal to complete - which allows them to explore who and what has had a positive impact on them each day, how their activity and food impacts their body - and give them the best understanding EVER of themselves.

You will get a journal too - giving you the very best insight into how your own language and behaviour can be a superpower for empowering your child to see exercise isn't just reserved for the P.E loving sporty kids.

We will run groupings of:

Years 3-4
Years 5-6
Years 7-10 (Boys only)
Years 7-10 (Girls only)

And there will only be 6 spaces per group so that we can support each child and family to the highest level - Giving both your child AND you the feedback on a weekly basis that allows you to have the very best experience possible.

Our kids programme isn’t just going to be about exercise…

So far, the feedback on the launch of our programme for kids has been unreal—and almost sad, because it shows how something like this is so desperately needed for some kids and families.

A massive part of the programme—alongside some great training—is this journal.

Each day, over the 6 weeks, both the child and adult will complete a 5-minute task that helps everyone identify:

What I have done positively for my body today

What I have done positively for my mind today

Who I have positively impacted

Who has positively impacted me

(There’s more, but that would be giving away too much for now!)

It would be easy to run a simple “drop and run” session where I could teach your kids how to do a burpee. But with the way the world is today, I am incredibly keen to help kids and families grow strong minds, stronger self-belief, stronger self-awareness, and, of course, a stronger body.

Make no mistake—this programme won’t be easy…

But nothing life-changing ever is.

Introducing our second new programme - Icons

Due to the immense feedback we’ve received on the stories we’ve shared about Chris training his 95-year-old client, we’ve finally had time to formalise how a truly innovative and inspiring program can be put together for people aged 65+ who want to sharpen their body and mind

Traditional programs for people aged 65+ focus on flexibility and heart health, which is fantastic—but they leave so many vital physical skills on the back burner.

Our very unique program works on areas such as:

✅ Reactions and Reflexes – Whether it’s emergency braking or stopping a fall, we’ll help make your mind-to-body connection faster and more capable.

✅ Flexibility and Mobility – Aches, pains, and “feeling old” aren’t fun, but they also don’t have to be normal or just “the way it is.” We’ll work to make your whole body easier to move.

✅ Strength – Sure, we might not turn you into a magazine cover model, but strength training is vital for your muscles, bones, blood flow, and even your brain. Getting the right weight and choosing the right exercises for your body isn’t easy, which is why we lean on decades of experience to make the right choices for how each person is set up.

✅ Heart and Lungs – Ultimately, a healthier heart and lungs are key to keeping you on this planet longer. We won’t expect you to run a marathon after just two sessions, but we will progressively improve your capacity to live with more health.

Our Icons programme runs over 6 weeks and will go live later in April - with 8 spaces becoming available in intake 1.

Wow! What an amazing response!

After receiving amazing feedback on yesterday’s announcement that we’ll be running a confidence programme for kids, I wanted to share more about why this programme is happening (and also clarify what it’s NOT going to be).


Alongside their training sessions with us, each child will be given a journal that they’ll complete daily for six weeks covering positive mindset, healthy eating and health building behaviours

The journal will include questions designed to help them see themselves as powerful, identify things (and people) that positively impact them, and recognise who they have a positive impact on as well.


As girls approach their teen years, body image and negative social expectations on how a girl “should” look and behave can have an enormous impact on how they grow up and who they become as adults.

I want to help them see themselves as amazing and capable, and allow them to explore the idea that how they look is less important than how they feel.

For the boys, I believe it’s clear that having positive role models is vital. the trouble is - most people teaching or coaching them in PE or sports is focussed on what everyone can do, rather than simply question “Is this boy succeeding and how can we help him shine?”

This programme also helps them view themselves as powerful and strong, but it will also teach them how to use their growing strength to cultivate a mindset that is conscientious, kind, and self-aware enough to see the impact they have on others, as well as the impact others have on them.

This is a six-week programme that I firmly believe has the power to change how your child views themselves for the rest of their life.

It will inspire them to see what their body is capable of and how powerful they can be, both physically and mentally.

We are so pleased to announce the of 3 new services coming to Curious (this one starts after the Easter holidays and will run for 6 weeks)

It’s now more common than ever for children, teens and young adults to be completely left behind by tradition P.E and sports options

Hundreds of local kids who don’t fit the physical or social norms of ‘being sporty’, playing for a team, or being physically ‘good at something’ - are missing out on the amazing benefits of being active, fit, and strong because they just can’t get motivated by sports or PE

So we are setting out on a mission to get Kids and Teens into our gym to get fit, strong and confident - achieving amazing things with their bodies and minds and being celebrated for what the CAN do.

With sessions delivered in a child-first approach and fully DBS compliant - we will take your child and help them become a stronger, healthier and more confident version of themselves - as well as inspiring them to make better choices with their nutrition and healthy habits. 

We will be keeping our boys and girls sessions separate as a response to customer and child feedback, and each child and family will be invited to speak with us before starting to ensure that this is the right place and we are the right people for your Childs physical development and confidence.
