🪶 My Journey 🪶
Through my journey with bodywork and energy work I have learnt so much about myself, this past year in particular.

When I first began doing body work and massage therapy, my life immediately shifted, and it was like things just clicked into place.

Describing the indescribable sensations I experienced at the beginning of this journey and continue to feel working with my clients is a challenge. It’s as if I am tapping into something ancestral within me, as if I’ve been doing this work for lifetimes. I find myself slipping into a trance-like state, where something takes over, and it’s almost as if I can massage with my eyes closed, letting my hands instinctively guide the way.

In those initial days, I started sensing people’s energies—waves of sadness, grief, or joy. Trying to discern whether these emotions were mine was difficult. I could also feel the energetic exchange with my clients, whether my clients ‘let me in’ energetically or not, whether our energies danced in the room and harmonised or if there was a wall between us... I could feel it like a smack in the face.

This marked the initiation of my journey into energy work and Reiki healing. Things naturally started to shift. My psychic senses started to deepen and open more and more. Now, I receive clear and direct messages through visual symbols, colours, and auditory messages for my clients. Physical transference has also become a part of my experience, where I feel a pain mirroring that of my client. While I’ve always felt strongly connected to my intuition (clairsentient), the ability for clairvoyant ‘clear seeing’ or clairaudient ‘clear hearing’ eluded me.

For me, bodywork is more than manipulating muscles; it’s an unfiltered exploration of the emotional and spiritual dimensions. This realisation has been one of my greatest understandings. It breaks barriers, bridging the physical and metaphysical, delving not only into the physical realm but emotionally and energetically as well. With the right space holder and intention, I believe it transcends into something profoundly shamanic, guiding clients on an inward journey, reaching altered states of consciousness.

I know there is so much more to explore with this work and about myself along the way. I’m excited for another year of deepening into all that this delicious thing called life has to offer!
