Today we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating a very special milestone here at Haven Care Home — Mary’s 97th birthday! 🎉🎂

We hope Mary had a truly fantastic day filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of love. It was wonderful to see her enjoying her birthday cake and celebrating with everyone around her.

Earlier this month, two of our lovely ladies enjoyed a wonderful mini bus trip to the local garden centre! 🌸🌿

Ines and Jill had a fantastic time exploring all the beautiful plants and flowers on display. They were absolutely mesmerised by the colourful fish, spending time watching them swim gracefully around the tanks. 🐠✨

After all that exploring, they enjoyed a relaxing cuppa and a good chat in the café – the perfect way to round off a lovely outing together. ☕💬

It was such a joy to see them smiling and making special memories! 💚

🎶 What a fantastic afternoon with the wonderful David Woloszko! 🎤✨

Our latest visit this month was packed with great classic hits that had everyone singing along, and we finished in true party style with some fabulous disco tunes 🕺💃

David’s amazing voice and brilliant sense of humour never fail to brighten the day and bring smiles all around. It’s always such a joy to have him with us – we’re already looking forward to the next visit! 💙🎵

Earlier this month we were delighted to welcome Maxine to spend the day with us for a fantastic development session with our residents.italy🇮🇹🍕
We embraced a full Italian theme, and the morning was all about getting hands-on making pizzas from scratch. Rolling dough, choosing toppings and of course taste testing along the way. It's safe to say our staff enjoyed getting involved just as much!
In the afternoon, Maxine treated us to a beautiful selection of homemade Italian desserts. From delicious cookies to classic tiramisu, there was something for everyone to enjoy- and they certainly didn't disappoint!
The day was a huge success, filled with laughter, learning and lots of amazing food. A big thank you to Maxine for making it such a special and memorable experience for us all!🥰

🎉🎂 Today we celebrated another wonderful birthday here at Haven Care Home! 🎂🎉

This time it was Yvonne’s special day, and what a lovely celebration it was! 🥳 There were smiles, laughter, and plenty of sweet treats to enjoy.

Today we celebrated Tom’s birthday and what a lovely day it was! 🎉🎂

Tom had a wonderful time listening to the singing entertainment, and they even added a very special birthday song just for him – which made the moment even more memorable. He was all smiles!

To top it all off, he made his wish and blew out the candles on his cake surrounded by everyone’s warm wishes. A fantastic celebration for a fantastic person! 💙✨

Our residents have been getting into the spirit of love this Valentine’s season 💕

Recently, they spent time creating some absolutely beautiful Valentine’s cards, and the room was filled with pink, red, and plenty of hearts! From delicate designs to bold and bright creations, every card was truly gorgeous and made with so much care.

It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the creativity, sharing smiles, and spreading a little extra love along the way ❤️

Well done to all our talented residents for their fantastic designs! 💗✨
