Do adjustments hurt? 🤨

This is a question we get a lot - and the answer is NO!

All our practitioners have many years of experience and training in doing adjustments. Similar to cracking your knuckles, you can hear a 'crack' but it shouldn't hurt!

Adjustments aren't suitable for every condition which is why a consultation and assessment is carried out at each appointment. You can also let your practitioner know if you don't want adjusted or feel a bit nervous about it - we have alternative treatments available and can talk you through everything!

You could be tense just from sitting at a screen and not realise it!

Here is your quick reminder to:

👉 Unclench your jaw
👉 Relax your shoulders
👉 Get moving - swing your arms or shake out your legs
👉 Take a deep breath in and out

Your muscles can get achy and sort just from being tight and stuck in the same position for too long. Remember to take breaks and be mindful of trying to relax your body when you can!

Our amazing owner & chiropractor Pamella completed The Bà Duathlon on Saturday 6th September to raise money for Borders Additional Needs Group. SCIO 049074! 🗻🚴🏃‍♀️

"The off-road run covers 18 miles of Scotland’s finest mountain trails. Climbing and descending 1000m before reaching your bike where you'll ride 62 of the sweetest west coast miles back to Kinlochewe...This duathlon has 3000m of elevation across the ride and run."

Despite having a cold, Pamella powered through, ran, biked and completed the entire trail in 12 hours, starting in the dark at 5am!
