This week is Children’s Mental Health Week. You can help make children feel safe and connected. Small actions make a big difference:

💬 Talk about feelings – simple daily check‑ins help children feel understood.
🎨 Get creative – drawing or making a “My Place” picture can help children express emotions.
🕰️ Keep routines calm – regular sleep, meals and screen‑free moments support wellbeing.
💛 Encourage kindness – little acts help build belonging and confidence.

If you're worried about a child, trusted support is available through

Yesterday was Time To Talk Day 2026.

Too often, mental health problems are treated as a taboo subject – something not to be talked about, especially at work.

Talking openly and honestly can be the first step towards better mental health for everyone.

Why don't you share something on social media? There’s no right or wrong way to check in with others.

We want everyone to feel comfortable talking about mental health and feel able to ask for support.

Please see below for useful contacts.

Today is Time to Talk day.

It is a day for talking openly and honestly, which can be the first step to improving your mental health. We are encouraging you all to talk openly with others as they will help you to seek help when you need it.

Why don't you:

🙂Text a friend and ask how they're doing.

🙂Go for a walk and talk with your neighbour, offering them a cup of tea. Even a Little gesture can make a big difference.

🙂Be a good listener. Sometimes a friendly ear and space space to share is all someone needs.
