💉We are going to be offering COVID-19 booster vaccinations this spring to patients who are:
- Aged 75 or over
- Aged 6 months to 74 years and are immunosuppressed because of a health condition or treatment
- Or live in a care home for older adults.

We will be contacting any of our eligible patients over the next few days. Our current availability in the surgery is various dates on the Week of the 13th and 20th April.

📣Patient Notice📣

We are pleased to share that the newly refurbished Pelton Fell Surgery will be reopening on Monday 20th April. 😊

The surgery will be open each day from 8:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

We want to thank all our patients for your patience and understanding whilst the site has been closed.

There has been some changes to the way that County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is accepting Self Referral to their physio services.

They are unfortunately no longer accepting paper self-referral forms.

You can self refer online using their Systmconnect on the link included below or collect a flyer from reception with the qr code to do the self referral also.

If you are unable to do this you are welcome to contact the surgery and we would be able to submit this on your behalf.

If you feel that you are suffering from a musculoskeletal complaint that could benefit from Physiotherapy, you can make a direct referral to the County Durham Integrated MSK Service (CD IMS). This offers patients greater choice and faster access to hospital services without the need to visit a GP.

📢 PATIENT INFORMATION

We understand you may be concerned about the news regarding the meningitis cases in the country. These cases concern Meningitis B.

The MenB vaccination is given routinely to infants as part of the childhood immunisation schedule in the UK and has been offered routinely for all children born in 2015 onwards.

Currently, MenB vaccines are not available on the NHS outside of the childhood immunisation schedule. If you would like to get the vaccine, this will have to be done privately and we cannot provide this at the practice.
