Job Title: Night Care Officer
Location: Pembroke Dock, SA72 6ED
Hours: Average of 20.5 per week.
Salary: £15.42 - £15.89 (Depending on qualifications)

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Officer👚💊to join our team on an average of 20.5 hours per week basis (2 Night Shifts). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities 🗝️:

-To work with other staff in meeting the personal care needs of residents in accordance with the homes policies and procedures.

-Routine duties as directed by, and under the direct supervision of the Officer in Charge. To assume the responsibility of Officer in Charge as directed, by the management group.

-To make decisions based on your seniority within the organisation

-To help train junior members of staff in all aspects of their work in the home.

-Make and change beds; tidy rooms and do light cleaning.

-Answer emergency bells, the door and the telephone; greet visitors

-Read and write reports in case notes

-Take part in staff meetings and also in training activities as directed

What we're looking for👀:

-Communication skills are essential.

-Previous experience in a care setting is required and to hold at least Level 2 in Health & Social Care.

Pay: The rate of pay is dependent on qualifications. Starting at £15.42 with a Level 2 qualification, £15.89 for Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

Well we have been quiet on social media but we certainly haven't been quiet indoors...
Singing, Crafts and much more!
we can confirm we have had permission to post these videos of the children singing.
Residents also had there Christmas meal and joined sister homes Dale Roads Group at the Begilly Arms. More Photos to follow. 🎅🎅

What a busy week last week!

Monday - our florists 🌷took to the table to do some flower arrangements - and what beautiful arrangements they done themselves for their rooms 💐💐💐
Thursday - puzzles & Quizzes - we tested the knowledge, and safe to say we are a very clever home. There’s nothing these don’t know 🤔🧐🧩
Friday - Bus Trip 🚌 - due to late schedule, we changed the morning trip and went to Angle for a Coffee and a natter. Was bit cold for some whilst others took in the sea fresh air before back to a chippy lunch. Whilst the afternoon trip was excited to see the history of Laugharne. With a cuppa and a Welsh cake.

What a week!!!!
We go again this week…
Tuesday - Bus 🚌 Trip & a visit from the Dogs
Friday - 🎱 BINGO 🎱 2pm - feel free to come along.
