Important Patient Information.
As an update to the previous post, St Oswald's surgery will remain closed for the rest of this week. As previously mentioned there has been some accidental damage to the front of the building.
We will continue to update the page once we have more information. We intend to move all patients with existing appointments to Argyle surgery at the same time as your original booking. We are contacting those patients this involves but if you have any queries please contact the main line on 01646 624198

'Help us improve our Services'
The doctors at Argyle Medical Group carry out nearly 4000 Home visits a year. On average twice as many patients can be seen within the surgery in the time it takes for our GP's to visit someone at home, also some examinations are more appropriate in a clinical setting where the proper equipment is more readily available. Please read the helpful information below which clearly describes when a Home Visit is and is not appropriate.

Due to a recent incident in St Oswalds surgery it will be closed until further notice, please do not post prescriptions through the letter box. If you have an upcoming appointment in the next few days please contact the surgery to rebook if you have not been contacted.

Please contact the surgery and book your appointment with the Practice Nurse for your RSV vaccination now. Please watch the video for more information.
The current eligible groups are patients who are;
• turning 75 on or after 1 September 2024; or
• already aged 75 to 79 on 1 September 2024.

Also Pregnant Ladies from 28 weeks.
This cohort is likely to extend at a later date.

As the cases of Flu are still on the increase we would advise all patients who are eligible to book their flu vaccination. Please note we only have vaccination for those patients who are 65 and above. PLEASE ASK AT RECEPTION IF YOU ARE IN THE SURGERY FOR ANOTHER APPOINTMENT, OFTEN THE PRACTICE NURSE WILL FIT YOU IN IF THEY CAN.
