Last week we celebrated world wildlife day and our brilliant staff member Sarah brought in her weird and wonderful pets!
Residents got to hold and talk about her axelotl’s, bearded dragon, musk turtle and the surprisingly cute African land snail.
It was fascinating to learn more about these unusual creatures, huge thanks to Sarah for sharing her wildlife with us!

A wonderful week of St. David’s day activities at Ashdale last week was topped off by a visit from Liam at MamGu Welshcakes to talk to us all about how this local business is flying the Pembrokeshire flag worldwide!

We made beautiful vase cloches and filled them with daffodils, did Welsh themed quizzes and enjoyed a wonderful singalong with Peri Lynn Singer!

Ashdale Care Home is looking for a Catering Team Member to join our friendly team.

What we offer:

About the role:
• Preparing and serving food
• Assisting with basic cooking

About you:
• Previous catering experience preferred but not essential
• Willing to complete Food Safety Level 2 training
• Interested in working in the care sector
