Treatment is carried out by a Nurse Prescriber, Prophylactic Antibiotics are prescribed prior to treatment, reducing risks of infections. Lidocaine is used when introducing the threads to minimise discomfort and results can last 12 to 24 months.

Thread lifts are a minimally invasive treatment. Sutures are inserted under the skin, lidocaine is used throughout the treatment to make procedure as pain free as possible. The threads are then pulled, resulting in lifting the face and tightening the jowl.
