Hear from Maurice, whose 39-year-old daughter, Ella, was cared for at the Hospice, as he shares the impact support had on his family at a difficult time, and the difference fair funding would make to others facing similar situations. 💚

👉 Today, we are joining in taking a stand and raising awareness for fair funding, which would allow hospices across the UK to continue being there for people facing terminal and life-limiting illnesses.

Hospice care is vital for patients and their loved ones, allowing them to spend precious moments together and make the most of life until the end.

Today, we are joining hospices up and down the country in raising awareness about the need for fair government funding as championed by Hospice UK. 👇

Hospices like ours receive only part of their funding from government sources, and many are under growing financial pressure, with the cost of providing care rising faster than the funding available to support it.

Hear from Beth, as she shares the impact our care and support has had on her life and how fair funding would ensure others receive the same help when they need it most. 🟢

The transformation will ensure the Hospice is able deliver outstanding care in the best possible environment for years to come.

Phil Kavanagh, Director at KKE Architects, said: “If you provide beautiful spaces for patients and relatives, as soon as they walk in, they know that somebody’s given it thought, and that they’re being cared for.” 💬
