The Spinning Wheel Doctor I have an interest in spinning wheels and spinning, along with a number of other fibre-related crafts. I also service spinning wheels for customers.

The Spinning Wheel Doctor (trading as 'From Fibre To Finish'), is a small enterprise/project run by myself, Bob Grainger, and is based in the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, south Wales, UK. I have a personal collection of more than sixty vintage spinning wheels, and am busy renovating them so that they are restored to good working order once more. A professional service typical

ly costs around £30 to £40, plus any replacement parts or upgrades, and I provide free estimates for any work needing doing. I out-source any wood-turning work to an experienced local wood turner. I also sell a small number of spinning wheel accessories and replacement parts in my Etsy and eBay shops:

The Spinning Wheel Doctor/From Fibre To Finish is based in the grounds of the beautiful Craig-y-Nos Country Park, in the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, south Wales, UK. The park covers more than forty-acres, has two large ponds, a boat house, ducks and geese, two rivers, meadows, picnic benches, the Changing Seasons tea rooms/café, toilets and The Emporium Craft and Gift shop. Also at the park, my partner, Tina O'Keefe, runs Fairy Cwtch, a small enterprise providing a clothing alterations service plus needlecraft tuition. She also sells gifts and seasonal products made from fabrics and yarns (search FaceBook for "Fairy Cwtch"). The park is very much wheelchair accessible, has disabled toilets, free disabled parking, is very dog-friendly and has inexpensive parking. Bob Grainger
