Battle brain fog with these foods ✨

Brain fog comes with some frustrating symptoms: confusion, poor concentration, memory lapses… it makes day to day life and productivity difficult.

The good news; a well-rounded diet rich in key nutrients can alleviate brain fog symptoms and boost your brain health. Introducing the correct nutrients to your diet can:

🌱 Enhance focus and mental clarity
🌱 Improve memory and learning
🌱 Protect against cognitive decline as we age

Let’s take a look ⤵️

1️⃣ Antioxidants: Foods like berries, nuts, dark chocolate, and leafy greens are packed with antioxidants that fight oxidative stress and reduce inflammation in the brain, helping improve focus and clarity

2️⃣ Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Fatty fish (like salmon) and walnuts are rich in omega-3s, which support neuroplasticity, reduce brain inflammation, and improve cognitive function.

3️⃣ Probiotics: Gut health is closely tied to brain function. Probiotics found in foods like yogurt, kefir, and sauerkraut can enhance the gut-brain connection, reducing inflammation and improving mental clarity.

4️⃣ Complex Carbs: Whole grains, legumes, and vegetables provide a steady stream of glucose for brain energy, preventing the crashes that can contribute to brain fog.

5️⃣ Hydration: Not a food but dehydration is a major culprit behind brain fog. Drinking plenty of water and herbal teas helps keep your mind sharp and focused.

Incorporating these foods into your diet may help you feel more focused, energised, and clear-headed.

Try adding these brain-boosting nutrients to your meals and see the difference! 💡

Which of these foods are already part of your routine?

Today we’re launching important new research looking at fertility patients’ experiences of infertility-related trauma. A massive thank you to everyone who responded to our survey and shared their stories. Many of you said you felt heard and validated, some for the first time, in sharing your hidden, unspoken fertility-related experiences.

It’s an important piece of research showing infertility-related trauma is more common than previously recognised. We hope raising awareness of this is the first step to reducing these high levels of trauma.
If you want to read more about the research, our press release with more information is available at https://fertilitynetworkuk.org/press-releases/

The research was co-produced with Cardiff University, Cardiff Metropolitan University and Queen’s University Belfast, in association with the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA).

If you are affected by these issues, details of the support we and others offer is available on our website at:

He's going to be walking 3 marathons in 3 days to fundraise. The charity promotes a holistic approach which includes nutrition & supplements, excercise, stress management (meditation and breathwork) and hot/cold therapy. This approach, of course is what I would advocate to anyone for mental and physical wellbeing . Please support George with his fundraising whichever way you can

Stress Awareness Month is gradually drawing to a close. Recently I was treated to a fabulous Spa Day in the New Forest. There I had a hot stone massage with a luxurious rosemary body oil.🧖💤
Self care is super important so I bought myself a bottle : rosemary, cedarwood & Lavender to uplift the mood and promote inner harmony ☯️🌿
Now to make my own blend using some organic aromatherapy oils and continue to promote that inner harmony 🧘‍♀️

“🗣️ Strength training + menopause = 🔥

Strength training is one of the most powerful things a perimenopausal woman can do to stay healthy and strong as she enters menopause.

After age 30, sedentary women lose an average of 3–8% of their muscle mass every decade — and the older you get, the faster it goes!

Cliff notes on how to strength train during perimenopause:

✅ lift 2–3 times per week
✅ 20–40 minute sessions
✅ use challenging weights (and continue to progress over time)
✅ rest as needed between sets
✅ prioritize recovery
✅ eat adequate protein”

H/T to GGS Academy Founder Molly Galbraith for this info!
