Oxana is a committed yoga practitioner and an authentic and compassionate teacher. Her yogic journey began in 1991, when she was first introduced to yogic philosophy and the concept of agni yoga whilst studying performing arts in the conservatoire in the city of Magnitogorsk in the Ural Mountains of Russia. Since then Oxana has embarked on the journey of self-development and self-discovery. Her life experience and knowledge is weaved into every aspect of her teaching aimed at inspiring her students to achieve their true potential through yoga practice and philosophy. Over the years Oxana has completed a number of courses related to Yoga and Buddhism, including a course in Buddhist Philosophy, Mindfulness Meditation and an Aurolab Project Yoga Foundation Course created by Sama Fabian, one of the founders of the International Yoga Network (IYN) organisation, taught by the inspiring Michelle Lambert. Oxana began a two year teacher training course at Mandala Yoga Ashram in 2015. Oxana has practiced the Iyengar style of yoga for many years with Padmasimha, an inspiring and experienced yoga teacher and the founder of the Yoga Studio in Cardiff. This has provided an excellent foundation for a strong physical practice focussed on correct body alignment and the development of mental focus and resilience. Based on her experience and knowledge Oxana is able to blend a fusion of asana styles into her classes, including elements of Iyengar, ashtanga, yin and power yoga. She is trained in ancient tantric meditation techniques, yoga nidra, pranayama and mantra practices which she incorporates into her classes.

It’s not often that I put up a post about the mechanics of asana practice in yoga.

It isn’t that I don’t enjoy it or think it’s in any way inferior to other yoga practices. It’s just that there are already plenty of accounts that focus on this side of yoga — and if you want to learn the mechanics of asana, you can come and do that with me in an actual class, online or offline 😊

What I want to talk about instead is what lies beyond the physical practice — how it can be used to expand our perception of reality.

Śīrṣāsana, also known as the Headstand, is the perfect pose to demonstrate this point.

In yogic philosophy Śīrṣāsana is associated with the awakening of spiritual energy. Now, let’s briefly dip into yogic anatomy.

The energetic body consists of nāḍīs — energetic channels — and chakras, the points where these channels intersect.

Prāṇa, or life-force energy, flows through the nāḍīs, and this constant flow generates the energy that manifests as our thoughts, emotions, and actions.

In this sense, the nāḍīs can be compared to train tracks within the subtle body, and the chakras to stations where those tracks intersect.

There are seven main chakras along the spine — from the base to the crown of the head. So, when we apply pressure to the crown of the head in Headstand, we stimulate this chakra directly.

But there’s more to it than that.

The energetic body is something we all experience — all the time — in the subtle form of our thoughts, emotions, and feelings.

By turning ourselves upside down, we give ourselves a chance to see the world differently.

Like any major shift in life, mastering the Headstand comes with its share of fear, courage, and perseverance. To me, this is yet another example of how yoga is meant to be taken off the mat.

Personally, I go through periods where I practice this pose every morning for several weeks. I find it fun, energising & great for toning my arms and shoulders — you’re literally weightlifting while standing upside down!

Headstand is one of the poses I’m experimenting with as part of my Limitless Living Experiment. Each practice is chosen with mostly this aspect in mind.

For me, it led to the smallest inhabited island in the Maldives — and the most magical experience yet.

Welcome to Rakeedhoo — the tiniest inhabited island here! Honestly, I couldn’t have chosen better, even if I’d done weeks of research. As always, I just followed what felt right in the moment — and it led me here.

These days I’m finally mastering the art of letting go, allowing life and my intuition to guide ALL of my choices. And let me tell you — it’s been phenomenal, truly magical.

This is what my Limitless Living Experiment is about:

👉 What happens if I do the opposite of what I was conditioned to do since childhood?

👉 What if I go against my old belief system, even when it scares me?

Over the last few months, life has become more effortless. What once seemed impossible has quietly woven itself into my daily reality. Looking back, I see that every situation, every location I land in is exactly what I dreamed of — often better.

🌴 Back to Rakeedhoo: I booked quickly, knowing nothing about it, but it felt right. With just 50 inhabitants, it’s quaint, quiet, and exactly what I needed.

The bikini beach near my hotel is secluded and pristine — white sand, deep blue sea, endless sky. My hotel is clean, new, and the food is great. But most of all, I love the people. Since surrendering fully to this experiment, everyone I’ve met has been wonderful.

This is another truth I’ve discovered: the world is far more loving than we’re told. The media may focus on division and fear, but my lived experience says otherwise — kindness is everywhere.

✨ Yesterday, I realized this was once my dream place. I used to have a postcard on my office desk of a beach almost identical to this one. I didn’t remember it when I booked — yet here I am.

My next focus: how can I manifest even faster? I’ll report back 😉

👉 Would you dare to run your own Limitless Living Experiment? What might happen if you let intuition, not fear, lead?

Share below ⬇️ I would love to know 🔥

PS: the last pic is the view from my room 😍

𝐒𝐨, 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐜?

These days, ‘nomadic’ means something very different to what it did a hundred years ago.

Now it’s digital – you travel with your laptop, work online instead of on land, and (ideally) pack light.

It’s exciting to leave everything behind and go. But let’s be honest – it’s not without challenges.

Depending on the rhythm you choose (and life in general), you may face things like heightened anxiety, food issues, and straight-up depletion.

Sharing 6 practical ways to navigate all this in the carousel – and in more depth on the blog.

When I say I embarked on a 𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, I don’t mean it just happened—or that it’s recent.

No.

My whole life has felt like an experiment in living this way.

I’ve pushed myself hard—first unconsciously, under the weight of external conditioning and a deep, quiet dissatisfaction.

Then came surrender—trusting the inevitability of certain lessons.

And finally, stepping into what I now see as my birthright.

I’m not claiming to have it all sorted out. I’m still working through my own internal limits.

But there is one thing I DO know:

I’m fully committed to leaning into the tough stuff—fear, self-doubt, self-judgement—because that’s the only way I can move through what holds me back from living the life I know I’m here for.

And I want the same for you.

So here are six rules you can start applying today, to begin living your version of a limitless life:

1. Make a list—not just a bucket list, but a real vision of the life you want to live.

2. Time is limited. Look back—how many years have passed? Do you really have time to waste?

3. Be intentional and intuitive, not harsh. Self-discipline is a key expression of self-love.

4. Ask: what’s the worst that could happen? And what does “living on my own terms” actually mean to me? Journal it.

5. Prioritise your health daily. Rest. Meditate. Health and time can’t be manifested later—so use them now.

6. Journal until your vision is crystal clear. Reduce it to one powerful statement. Repeat it daily.

This is your life.

Make it yours.

Live it without limits.

And just like that, I’m back! It’s been over a week since I landed in Sri Lanka, and I love it!

What I’m enjoying most at the moment: the mountain climate, the tropical landscape, the amazing food, chilling by the pool, and meeting new people!

When I embarked on this 𝑳𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑳𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕, I knew it was never really about travel or the external landscape. It’s about diving deeper into myself—exploring the possibilities for unlimited growth, challenging limiting thoughts and beliefs, and creating something new and truly aligned.

I won’t settle for anything less. I’m prepared to face all my doubts and fears along the way—of which there are many.

I’m realising that real strength lies in facing and accepting vulnerability—with respect and love. Navigating a new stage in life can be tricky, as can staying balanced amidst both internal and external shifts. But it’s also exciting and full of possibility.

I can 100% say I wouldn’t be able to do this without my daily yoga and meditation practice, or my knowledge of Ayurveda—it helps me understand myself, my body, and my mind.

For now, I’ve finally 𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒅—fully—into this beautiful space among the Knuckles Mountain Range. Honestly, it’s one of the most stunning places I’ve ever seen, and I’m filled with gratitude for the opportunities life offers me every single day.

I’m getting back to it—the daily posting, updating my website, and working on new coaching offerings. These are creations of my own, bringing together all the modalities I love and know truly work.

For now, I’m sending big love from Sri Lanka! ❤️

Cooking up a storm in the kitchen on a Sunday?
Yes. That was — and still is — one of the best ways for me to spend a Sunday.

Even though I live a nomadic lifestyle now, I grab every opportunity to cook. Especially on Sundays. That part hasn’t changed, and I like it that way.

Over many years, I’ve shared a handful of simple, delicious, digestion-friendly recipes on my blog — all rooted in Ayurvedic and yogic cooking principles. Not just pretty ideas — real food I actually make, again and again.

You’ll find two types of kitchari (including a coconut one that’s perfect for summer), banana pancakes for slow mornings, a hot chocolate with an Ayurvedic twist (hello jaggery and nutmeg), vegan barfi for your sweet tooth… and more.

If you’re looking to build strength, calm, and radiance from within, don’t miss the Bliss Drink — an ojas-building tonic that supports immunity, vitality, and emotional resilience.
(Think: your inner glow + your ability to handle life.)

✨ Want to feel inspired to cook?
Go to the link in bio, then hit the “Recipes” button at the top to explore the full collection.

Let me know which one you’ll try first — or if you already have a favourite.

And 🫶 save this post so you’ve got the link when you need it.

My 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 didn’t come on a whim. It’s the result of years of study, radical self-observation, and painful — sometimes brutal — growth.

I now realise this was always my destination. My soul’s direction.
At first, it felt unrealistic.
Then, slightly possible.
Now? It’s as obvious as daylight.

For as long as I can remember, I believed I was limited by my external circumstances — by birth, by geography, by family.
I genuinely thought I’d been dropped into the wrong life.

As a child, I used to believe I came from another planet… or the moon.
And I cried a lot.
I felt misunderstood. Unseen. Unloved.

I kept waiting for someone to come and rescue me — to take me back to wherever I truly belonged.

But it turns out... there was no mistake.
Every tear I shed, every painful experience I survived — they all shaped me, they all pointed me here.

This life wasn’t random.
It was a choice my soul made — and I believe that’s true for all of us.

What if your soul chose your circumstances on 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦 — to give you the exact conditions needed to grow into who you truly are?

I believe we’re born among people and situations designed to either challenge or nourish us. Sometimes both. And it’s not a flaw — it’s divine design.

Because how else would you discover your limitlessness, if you never had to face your limitations?

And that — the messy, beautiful, wild process of becoming — is the fun part. Even when it hurts.

The 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 is about waking up.
Becoming aware.
Fearless.
Playful.
It’s about breaking through the lies you inherited and daring to live a life that doesn’t shrink or apologise.

You didn’t come here to play small.
Neither did I.

Are you ready?

You might not realise it, but the change of seasons has a powerful impact on our health and wellbeing. Ayurveda gives us the tools to restore balance and stay well during these transitions – and this workshop will show you how.

Join us this Saturday, 7 June at The Yogisthaan Café in Indiranagar for an empowering deep dive into Ayurvedic wisdom.

👉 You’ll learn – and really get to understand – the foundational principles of Ayurveda: the five elements, the three doshas, and how they relate to your unique constitution. You’ll discover your personal dosha type, how to recognise signs of imbalance, and what balance looks like for you.

👉 In the second half, we’ll explore how the seasons – especially summer – influence our system, and what Ayurveda recommends to stay aligned. You’ll get practical, detailed guidance on seasonal diet, daily rhythms, and lifestyle tweaks that actually make a difference.

👉 There’ll be meditation, breathwork, relaxation, discussion, connection, chai – and an optional delicious Ayurvedic lunch prepared for us afterwards.

👉 You’ll also leave with your own dosha chart, recipes, and a better understanding of yourself.

Come join us this Saturday, 7th June, at this gorgeous venue for one of the most nourishing and inspiring Saturdays you’ve had in a while.

04/06/2025

I’ve been working with manifestation since I was a teenager—long before it became a trend. Back then, I wasn’t trying to manifest anything fancy. I just wanted out of a life that felt disconnected, heavy, and not mine.

Over time, I realised manifestation isn’t some vision-board magic. It’s basic energy. You’re always creating—whether you’re aware of it or not.

The difference is: when you start paying attention to how you think, how you react, and what you focus on—you can actually direct that energy.

For me, it started with one habit: daily, intentional gratitude.
Not forced. Not fake. Just honest recognition of what is—and how I choose to meet it.

If you’re looking to shift your state and take ownership of how you feel, start here.

🧠 Journal prompts to try this week:
— What am I genuinely grateful for right now—even if it’s uncomfortable?
— What situation felt like a setback but actually taught me something useful?
— Where am I judging others—and what does that reflect back about me?
— What belief about myself is limiting me right now? Is it even mine?
— What would it look like if I responded instead of reacted today?

Keep it simple. Keep it honest. This work isn’t about fixing yourself—it’s about seeing clearly.

🖊 Full breakdown + daily practice guide is in my latest blog post (link in bio).

📌 Save this if you’re ready to try a new approach.

💬 What came up from the prompts? Drop one insight in the comments if you feel like sharing.
