An agreement has been reached with NHS Lothian and we are now able to resume accepting sharps back at the pharmacy.

Again my apologies for the disruption to this service over the past few months

Our temporary withdrawal was a necessary measure to ensure adequate funding going forward. This was mirrored by a number of pharmacies across Lothian and thankfully due to these actions we have secured funding that has led to both the reinstatement of the service and overall its future viability.
