I nipped in to Vogrie park today. They are getting ready to host the free family festival Vogrie Pogrie in the gorgeous woodland setting. Helpful Herbs will have herbal teas mostly collected in Mid and Eastlothian. Pure skin salves simply made from herbal infused oils and chemical free beeswax. Local honeycomb honey from Roslin; Lavender essential oil, health tinctures; apples for donations for the freed performing bears and rhubarb jam for the bears. Baby oak trees and lots of other small perennials. Persicaria, Rudbeckia, Alchemilla and Silver lined Alchemilla, Hesperantha(red) Lily, Tansy, Vervain, Motherwort, outside geraniums, and various others.
Come to the woodland wellness area. Bbq3, near the campervan parking area.
Find yoga 11 to 12, biodiversity expert, sound experience, fireside chat and more in a lovely spot with the trees and loads of other great things happening near by.

Great plants and produce

This weekend markets are Edinburgh Farmers' Market on the Saturday, and The Steading, Rosewell on Sunday. All the usual retinue of veg plants good to go in the garden, and with Sunday's market I'll have a nice selection of produce as well.

Amazing honey harvest today with some Honeydew and orange flavoured pollen.
Getting ready for Roslin gala day next saturday.
Helpful herbs will have skin products; hormonal balancer herbs; better sleep herbs; mixes for other common ailments; tasty herb teas; Roslin honeycomb including some Honeydew honeycomb.

What a great spot on a great sunny day. I remember when all buddleias looked like this in the summer.
Bring on the fruit trees, wild flowers, nettles, brambles, ivy that allow the pollenators and song birds to flourish.

A summer day with buddleia reminiscent of childhood butterflies, phew. Nature can make a come back given a chance. Wild flowers round the buddleia must help too. Video to follow.

Great morning at The Steading, Rosewell Farmers market. Thanks for the custom. Tasty Teas went down well. The other favourite is Lemon Balm lip balm which smells so good it is irresistable to those who enjoy a full citrus aroma with the earthy lemon of the dried leaves infused in grapeseed oil mixed with top zest scent of lemon balm/ melissa essential oil and thickened with chemical free, local bees wax.
