Hi everyone 😊

We’re currently updating our records for social media photo consent here at Buckinghams.

If you have a loved one with us and you are their Power of Attorney or registered next of kin, we’d really appreciate it if you could email Buckingham.manager@crowncaregroup.co.uk to let us know whether you give or decline consent.

This helps us make sure we’re respecting everyone’s wishes — we won’t be able to share any photos of your loved one without your permission.

Thank you so much for your support 💛

My name is Becky, and I’m proud to introduce myself as the Continence Champion for Buckingham.

My role is to support and promote the dignity, health, and wellbeing of those living with bladder and bowel challenges. Continence care is a vital part of maintaining comfort, confidence, and independence — and I’m here to make sure that individuals and families feel supported every step of the way.

What does this mean for you and your loved ones?

As the Continence Champion, I aim to:

Promote dignity and reduce the stigma around continence issues.
Offer advice and guidance on managing continence needs effectively.
Help prevent common problems such as discomfort, infections, and skin issues.
Work alongside care staff and families to ensure person-centred care.
Share useful resources and tips to improve everyday quality of life.
Continence care is more than just managing a condition — it’s about helping people feel comfortable, respected, and in control. If you ever have questions, concerns, or ideas, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

Together, we can make a real difference

Hannah and we are proud to introduce ourself as the mental health first aider for Buckingham

Mental health is just as important as physical health, and Amy and Hannah are here to offer support, a listening ear, and guidance for anyone experiencing emotional distress, anxiety, or low mood — whether it's individuals in our care, staff, or even families who may need someone to talk to.

What does this mean for you and your loved ones?

As Mental Health First Aiders, Amy and Hannah will:

Offer confidential, non-judgemental support to anyone in emotional distress.
Help identify early signs of mental health challenges.
Provide reassurance and guidance, and signpost to professional help if needed.
Encourage a culture where mental health is spoken about openly and without stigma.
Support staff wellbeing, which in turn enhances the quality of care provided.
By creating a mentally healthy environment, Amy and Hannah help ensure that emotional wellbeing is prioritised, and no one feels alone.

If you ever have concerns about your loved one’s mental or emotional wellbeing — or even your own — Amy and Hannah are here to support you.

There was plenty of creativity, a lot of laughter, and of course… a few cheeky chocolates along the way to “help us concentrate” 🍫😉

Keep an eye out – you never know, you might spot a few colourful eggs popping up around the home over the next few days! 🐣🌼

Well done everyone for a cracking effort! 🥚💛
